Yess! Love to see you reacting to brand new content. Unfortunately no stories or bio for Naafiri yet, but we won't have to wait long. While the trailer is incredible stylish it is without confusing at first (surely for most of us). So the combination with Necrits breakdown is a good choice. Id love for you to react to the Fiddlesticks update trailer!! Reacting to his voice lines to other characters, especially since you know about most of the characters you’ll understand what it is! What’s important to know is that when Fiddlesticks talks, he mimics other people’s words. So its usually the last words of his victims. While you’re learning about Fiddle, one of the Ten Demon Kings of Runeterra, you can fit in Evelynn and Tahm Kench, two other demons of runeterra into the video as well!

unfortunately, the graphics in the game do not allow for better models, which is why they always have a different vibe from the trailers, but we know Riot working on different type of games so maybe in far future we can play as scary doggo or even she will be part of Arcane which is super excited to think of.

Darkin lore is one of my favorites. The background of it shows you how little the celestials care about mortals in the small picture, they just care about their big plan, dealing with the void. Obviously having a plan to deal with the void is not bad on itself, but when they don't care about the means, they sure act like careless gods. Also I recommend you the story: "Where Icathia once stood".

regarding your next video with the Varus cinematic - I am not sure f you now but there is also a behind the scenes from League for this cinematic explaining how they tried visualizing his story in the video. Maybe - if not already done -you can add this to your reaction video. "The Story Behind Varus: Retribution | League of Legends" Another cool detail in the Naafiri cinematic is that I believe the whole idea of Naafiri is inspired by the giant Fenrir wolf from norse mythology. It is said that it used to be a merge between different wolves: Garmr, Sköll, and Hati Hróðvitnisson who devour the sun and moon. And in the cinematic we see Naafiri in her ultimate form looking like a Fenrir wolf devouring the sun (disk). So cool! I love the idea. Also : Very cool you reacted to the most recent cinematic right away :)

I wouldn't say that league is fallen apart, but riot games used to have 1 game for the first decade of their existence which was league of legends. Last 2 or 3 years they created a lot more games and are working on other projects, and a lot of their focus have shifted toward Valorant instead of League. Which is why a lot of league players are pissed that we are getting less cinematics lately compared to Valorant.

necrits video about potential raids/bosses of the mmo is a great one. essentially it explains in detail storylines connected to major, sometimes worldending, threats, like darkins, mordekaiser, etc. its almost hour long, but its very much worth it.

This is my recommendation for an upcoming reaction. Its called After Arcane by TB Skyne. Its about possible TV shows that Riot could make after Arcane concludes or alongside Arcane. Its very narratively drive which i thought youd enjoy. Tb is a pretty big figure in the League community and i doubt he'd mind you reacting to his content

We are planning to go for alternate universes after exploring the "main lore". I agree that this video would be a great wrap up for it. I would be all in for an Odyssey show for sure!😍 Unfortunately his animation breakdowns are a "little" too long for a reaction, but there are a few I will recommend to Ola for a private watch for sure. Amazing guy.

Darkin lore is where Riot really shines. I just hope that Naafiri's lore will be as good as the cinematic. Recently lore division had a few weak moments here and there. I can see just by your face expressions that you had a great time watching this videos. And yes, the gameplay really downgrades champions look from their cinematics but that is something you will get used to see. LOL as a game is just hopeless medium for lore presentation

I simply love the Darkin lore, they are basically "artificial gods" who got their mind corrupted in the fight against the void and became "fallen gods", until now in the game we have Rhaast who is sealed in the scythe, Varus who is sealed in the bow, Aatrox who is sealed in the sword and Naafiri, who is sealed in the dagger.

League of legends lore is 10,000x beyond the game itself. Which is the opposite of so many games. Necrit would have a doctorate in LoL if it were possible. He literally is the walking library of all of it. I know of no other close competition. If they exist they are contract bound by Riot itself.

You say at the end that her lore and cinematic looks amazing and her gameplay doesn't look like how her lore feels. But honestly, riot does a pretty good job at conveying the characters lore through gameplay. when you play against a fiddlesticks, you always need to watch your back, always think twice before turning a corner because he could jump out of nowhere and kill you in an instant. When you play as Jhin, you need to play a totlly different game of league. as a Jhin you need to play like chess, set up the board, let your enemies dance. and when you play against him, sometimes it just feels like that one step you made, was all planned perfectly. It's jhin's stage and you are a background character, being made to dance by him until you die. Swain is kind of the same, you feel like a commander, looking over the battlefield. you are high, almighty, untouchable while your foes cower beneath you and crumble to their knees, kneeling before you as you take their souls. Though in the early stage of the game Aurelion sol is not very strong, but once enough time has passed, he might be one of the scariest champions out there. he can breath his cosmic breath at anyone and they will die very very fast. just like with Targon, he was chained, his power used. but as time went on, he regained some control. and the control he regained was terrifying. And Naafiri feels like a hunter. She feels hungry. Her abilities are simple yet effective, which fits the wolf/hunter theme since in nature, there is no room for overcomplication. You can really chase others with her, and chase, and chase until you've gotten the kill. Her ultimte ability really feels like , "IT'S TIME TO FEAST" when you activate it. you are able to run faster and see the location of nearby prey, which you then can dash towards. a dash that cant be broken or escaped out of. just like in her lore, once she got her sights on you, she is inevitable

@@StopMeOh you’ll probably often hear: “this champion is stupid” “he/she does way too much”. But credit where credit is due, riot knows about making a coherent champion. Did they get it wrong? Yes sometimes, but many have been redesigned. Some small like Fiddlesticks, Evelynn, Jax. Some big like Warwick, Urgot, Aatrox. And some in the making of redesigning. One of my favorite champions is Taliyah, she is less popular due to her kit being difficult to use in the current game state. She doesn’t have much cinematic significance unfortunately, so instead of her, may I recommend Renata Galsc’s trailer and champion theme. She is soo awesome

So basically the issue with the current state of the League lore is that management didnt know how to behave with the success of Arcane. Before Arcane they started launching video games that progressed the lore of the world, they were writing novels, they had big lore cinematics. There were multiple vectors of substantial and quality media that was revitalizing and progressing the lore of the world. But after Arcane was so unimaginably successful they management halted all lore progression across all departments and centralized the authority over narratives was given to the entertainment department. For a year there were almost no cinematics, no shortstories no cannon lore events, champion bios were significantly reduced, champion launches were less impactful, staffing and funding for Legends of Runeterra was gutted. All because they want Arcane to the new primary driver of lore. But while Arcane is amazing, it takes forever to make and can only tell the store of about a dozen champions at a time. The sacrifice was jarring

I haven't played League in a while, so this is the first new champion trailer I've seen in a minute. It makes me wonder how many champions I missed. Naafiri looks interesting as far as gameplay goes. Seems like a champion I would want to play sometimes. You mentioned Fiddlesticks when you saw the still of his cinematic. When he was reworked they released a short trailer to tease his new gameplay. It's really short, but a very atmospheric little teaser. I don't know if you plan to watch all of the champion trailers eventually, but if you ever feel like adding a very short bit to one of your videos, Fiddlesticks' rework video is neat. There was a brief time when I was still playing League where I was obsessed with Fiddles (my nickname for him). I also remember someone doing a video about League a long time ago that sort of good-naturedly made fun of the game and the toxicity of the players. I haven't seen it in quite a while but I remember it being funny. I'll see if I can find it just in case you ever feel like watching someone criticize League gameplay. ✌🤓
