good detailed video, thyank you. Ive been using Arccos for a few years now with 5.6k shots tracked. Im like you though and wince at the thought of the annual sub, but I pay it.

Thank you for the feedback! Really appreciate it! 😊 I get a fluttering thought every now and then about shot scope 🙈😂 but my subscription always auto renews and then I’m like “maybe next year” 😂

@@TKGolfYT Yeah Ive toyed with the idea of shotscope as its come a long way since it first started as a simple GPS app. I find the "Swing ID" intruiging and might give it a shot next year, but I would stick with Arccos for the stats.

So I got the Arco's sensors when I got my new clubs. I had my eye on a range finder, but I don't think I need it now. What are the benefits of having a range finder? And article sensors seem like it's over kill.
@TKGolfYT6 ай бұрын
One issue I have sometimes with the GPS app is, when I go to a course that doesn’t define where the flag is on the green (front, middle or back), it’s really difficult to get a good distance to the flag. With a range finder, you’ll know exactly how far away it is. With that said though, with everything else Arccos offer, it is more likely going to help you lower your handicap than a range finder! 😊 and most courses offer front, middle and back information anyway… If you’ve got the sensors in your clubs already, try them before you buy a range finder 😊 no harm!

Important question that I haven't seen answered yet... I always take a practice shot with my irons before taking an actual shot, will Arccos sensors think that I'm taking two shots instead of a practice + an actual shot? Thanks!
@TKGolfYTАй бұрын
Good question! As a rule, no it won’t 😊 basically, it will register a shot and then if you hit another shot in close proximity, it won’t register another. I’ve added shots after farting some because the two are so close together. Hope that makes sense 🤔

@@TKGolfYT As an add on to the above, Arccos senses when an actual shot has been hit and ignores practice swings

Thank you for the review. I’ve just ordered the sensors to give them a go. Do you know if there is a way in the app to track or add your playing partners scores like other GPS apps? We like to keep each other honest 😊.

Thanks for the review. I'm currently using Garmin sensors with a Garmin S70 watch. What do you think the advantages are, if any, with Arccos sensors and app? I was able se get some free sensors and an app trial so im going to try it out and want some advice on what to look for.
@TKGolfYT8 ай бұрын
I’d love to be able to comment for you about the advantages over the Garmin products, but I’ve never tried them. I’ve loved the Arccos sensors and apps since I got them and I use my Apple Watch with the app. So the experience I bet is very similar. The app itself gives a lot of great insights. If you’ve got access to have a go with the across stuff, give it a good run during the free trial 😊 I bet there isn’t a lot to choose between the two 😊 Sorry that wasn’t very helpful 😂

Sorry one question, if you go to the practice court, arccos can detect all the balls you hit from that practice?
@TKGolfYT9 ай бұрын
No, it won’t be able to I’m afraid. The way it gathers the distance you hit each club is - when you move to a new location and hit the ball, the GPS calculates the distance between each shot. So, over time, the information is gathered.
@TheBigWanger5 ай бұрын
The app has no idea where your ball went. Until you go to that spot and swing a club again.

If you have an Apple Watch, then no 😊 I use my Apple Watch and leave my phone in my bag. But also, they have something called the Link which can clip to your belt during rounds 😊

False …. The app does not know where your ball is. You will never find your ball using the app. Incorrect.
@TKGolfYT5 ай бұрын
😂😂😂 think you need to re-watch what I said… If you know how far you usually hit the ball, and you’ve got a line on where you hit it… the app tells you how far you are away from your last shot, therefore you have a much better idea of where the ball is
