Elisa and Elize saved a nightwish gig once, as Anette was going to hospital, these 2 amazing girls was frontsingers for Nightwish for one night, now that is a favor to NW i never forget.. lovely girls.. and honestly thise who was at thoss concert, got a concert no one else ever get..and i belive the fans was ok with it to..

Sharlee D'Angelo, the guitarist in Arch Enemy played in a old band from the 80's called King Diamond. Alissa White-Gluz, the singer, song in a Canadian band called The Agonist.

An Absolute shred fest of a song !!!! Here is a sugestion for you, how about the pioneer of female fronted Death Metal harsh vocals....Angela Gossow (My first Love in Metal)? Angela Gossow is one of the first among a small number of women to front as a death metal vocalist. She has a mezzo-soprano vocal range, with a death growl. She uses false cord screams. Alissa has a beautiful clean vocal, personally I wish she would do more. But, with AE, clean vocals are rare. From the 2022 Deceivers album, the 11th, and 3rd with Alissa. Next for Arch Enemy, you'll probably want to do the brand new song (released Jul 31), "Dream Stealers". For more clean vocals, "The Wolf You Feed" by Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper's lead guitarist) feat Alissa.

Next, you should listen to Deceiver, Deceiver. It is all harsh vocal. but Alissa is spectacular in it. And the guitars are even better than this one. Another interesting video to watch is the Nightwish Debacle in Denver where Alissa and Elise Ryd of Amaranthe stepped in to sing for Annette who had taken ill that night. They had 55 MINUTES to learn the songs. It was the last performance before Floor arrived.

Great reaction! I would recommend their new single, Dream Stealer, for your next reaction. Music video is killer. Alissa has beautiful clean vocals but rarely gets to use them in Arch Enemy. She did use her cleans more in her previous band The Agonist. Checkout Thank You Pain. Fun fact Alissa was on Canadian Idol in 2006. Not sure how far she went but I know she made it past her audition which you can find on YT. Other fun fact, Alyssa started The Agonist as her band but when she agreed to take over as the lead singer for Arch Enemy the guys kicked her out of the band. She had been guesting with lots of other bands before that including touring with Kamelot so she didn't think it would be a big deal but apparently it was. Saw an interview with Alyssa where she was talking about the rift and she was still pretty worked up about them kicking her out of her band, considering it the biggest betrayal in her life. She got a little Karma as the band broke up back in 2023. Some other great songs that feature Alissa include The Wolf you Feed with Nita Strauss (you would love this as Nita is phenomenal guitarist), Sacrimony and Liar, Liar (harsh and cleans), and one of my favorites, Demons are a Girls Best Friend with Powerwolf.
