Archie (Carroll O'Connor) purchased a new watch which may have been stolen.
From Season 3, Episode 19 'The Hot Watch': Mike worries that Archie may have unwittingly purchased a stolen watch. Matters become complicated when the watch is broken and Archie must find a repairman who will fix it and abstain from asking questions.

Dang I’m old. I remember getting a watch like that with all the dials and whatnot and being just as excited. Better yet, in the late 70s, early 80s the red LED watches started to appear and everyone was going nuts for those. Now we carry iPhones around that are more powerful than the computers that launched rockets and have access to just about 100% of the world’s information…🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

It's a total mad house, and the yelling, hate to live next door to them. Archie is a sweetheart. Love him and his mispronouncing of the words. Also like what we all used to call people. That is what makes it funny. Watching it at the moment on DVD, nothing else to watch on TV anymore, not for me.

Great show, but I never noticed before how often the boom mic appears near the top of the screen (and saw it in several other clips), maybe less visible on older televisions. Still, with that and the audience's laughter makes it seem much more like an enjoyable stage show.

It's so lame that this was cеnsоred. The whole point of Archie's character is that he was someone with a good heart but who also happened to be ignorant and bigoted on some issues. The show poked fun of him for these flaws. When someone starts cеnsоring him for saying ignorant things, it robs viewers of the very thing that helped made him a fascinating and unforgettable character.
