I go over the similarities and differences of the 6" Heritage Moc Toe from Red Wing. I'm only going to cover the differences between the three that I own here which is the Red Wing 8138, 1907, and 875.
In the world of classic heritage clothing, the Red Wing line of heritage boots is king in my opinion. The silhouette, reliability, and styling are one of the best in my world of heritage clothing.
This is my style and this is an example of how I wear these boots while working and riding. The Red Wing Iron line of heritage moc toe boots are the ultimate in men's heritage wear.
Some people are into basketball shoes or tennis shoes and I'm all about the boots.

Aloha, I love the snowy season too! I was stationed in Korea for three years and I looked forward to the winter months. I’m jealous that you’re around the corner from RW. The 10877 is absolute I agree and maybe one of these days I’ll end up with one haha. The 877 is a favorite on mine and I think the 8 inch version would do well. I got the White's Fulton for Christmas. Amazing boot and I Love it. Has a lower profile moc toe than the Red Wing and a Vibram lug sole. I'd recommend sizing the same as Red Wing, one size down from sneakers. I went from 11.5 to 10.5 and I can wear boot socks. 10 fit but only with thin sport socks.

How do you feel about the shifter scuff on the toe of these. I know one of your videos you said you’re not looking for these to be dinner date shoes. Just was curious how it affects aesthetically.

It’s prominent in my Iron Ranger since I use it a lot. My 1907 is beat to hell so I don’t mind the scars. The rest I don’t ride with as much. I’m thinking about putting back the heel shifter on my SG.

I recommend the 875, but can’t go wrong with the 1907 either. I like the 8138 for that darker reddish look. Or… get ‘em all lol!

Have you tried Nick's, J.K or Truman's boots those can also be considered classic men's wear. They are hand build and better quality and they also make moc toe boots as well.

The 1907 are a beast, I still wear mine in the garage and it takes oil, water, and whatever gets it wet. It's beat to hell but I love them haha!
