I love Birks so much I bought 6 of them in 4 different styles! You are absolutely right it does take some getting used to after you get them. I love that after awhile your feet sink into the cork (made this way) and every time I slip into a pair, it feels like a hand in glove ❤ but feet in bed heaven 😂 Birks are the best & you can style them with any kind of dress attire 🤩

At the recommendation of a friend, I bought my first pair of Birkenstocks in May of 2020. My first pair was Arizona. I’ll say that it was one of my best purchases. Birkenstocks definitely take a little bit to break in but once you get used to them, they’re absolutely heaven. I love my Birks so much. Who knows when I’ll get my 2nd pair of Birkenstocks, but when I do, I’m going to get the Shearling kind. The thought of soft and fluffy Birkenstocks sounds so comfortable.

I looove Birkenstocks! Bought my first pair last summer (the Arizona in mocha). About a week later I turned around and bought a second pair (the Mayari in black). I feel like they look good with EVERYTHING! This may sound weird, but I looove seeing a well loved, well worn pair of Birks. Hi, just to let you know to protect the cork from breaking down you have to put cork renew on them. Also you can get the soles replaced when worn down.

It's nice to see another person who wears a size 42! My first pair were some charcoal coloured Milanos (the ones with the backstrap) which lasted over 15 years. My brown Arizonas are still holding up pretty well and I love my black Gisas (I'd recommend them for your collection). I'm currently trying to break in some black Arizonas and some purple Gisas (unless you want to give that a shot). So jealous of your shearling pair!

AMAZING QUESTIONS!!! Denise, I recommend staying true to size. I wear a 10 in US and LOVEEE a 41!! I accidentally grabbed a 42, and don't wear them as much!! (or I secretly wish they fit like my 41's lol) Honestly, though, I would really recommend trying them on in store, then ordering. Grab the one that is your size but fits a bit snug. Once you break them in, GOOODNESSS!! YOU'LL BE GRATEFUL FOR THE SNUG lol

@@SydneyMaigon Thanks will save this so I can let you know, the insoles my doctor sold me were far more expensive then the $147 I payed for theses, but have to admit I got a blister during brake in, I even took them back for a larger size, big mistake, so went back to the shop the next day and got these back and told them that I was just gonna ride it out, sure glad I did, they just keep getting more comfortable every day.

Birkenstock’s are not meant to get wet (and I mean never!!) the cork does not like water! And will break down. Great Tip: Buy a 2nd pair of flip-flops or crocs to wear when your at the beach or near water, and wear your Birks when your not around water and your birks will last a long time!
