It used to be that among married people the saying was what's yours is mine and what's mine is yours. Then it became a joke for women to say what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine. Until I found out the hard way that it's not a joke. They actually mean it, even if they're pretending it's a joke. It is a huge gigantic major red flag to hear a woman say your money is my money and my money is my money. Just know. Never ever.

I agree, I hear this phrase used over and over again by women everywhere. As a man you only make this mistake once and you learn to not put up with that kind of nonsense ever again.

The most important job in the world is being a housewife and raising children but the govts have purposely destroyed families by making everything so expensive that men and women both have to work to support the family thereby handing the children over to the state to raise them .

Agreed there is nothing more belittling to a woman than to hear her highest calling in life referred to as "just a housewife". It's now even more so a symbol of status and privilege today. The feminist rhetoric says women are trapped in marriage, but the Bible shows that women inside of a Christian relationship with Christ as the center are no longer under the curse from the fall of man. Their husbands are commanded to honor them and love them as Christ loved the church. A wife will not have the stress and responsibility on her shoulders like a single woman. Also these "independent women" all love to claim to love being single and independent until they are older and their family doesn't help them, then they're lonely and regretful wishing they made better choices when they were young and able to have children and attract a better man. Women have to choose early before their value fades while men have time to work and build value because what each sex values is different.

My suggestion to the women who dont want to stay home and raise their children, just dont have children. Its your duty to raise your children , not the schools or the state govt. Im sorry if my comment sounds harsh but its really the truth. Thanks for another great video, take care .

I am a retired foreigner so I take care of the house when my wife works. It wouldn't occur to me to say that she should stop working because it's quite nice to sit in the rocking chair and take it easy until my godson comes after school.

It’s nice to hear young people who can discuss these issues without the angry gender politics that are so common in the West. The balancing acts at the center of family life aren’t so different, but boy the approach certainly is.

Hi Johnny & Lorie, a good topic, I think the problem is that people are always trying to put everything into a box and not discussing it first, so they don't find a compromise, so they never have real relationships with a man??? Their expectations are too high, and blaming the man for their past & experience of poverty is not a good way to start a relationship......................... Have a wonderful week, keep smiling............ Garrie chan

Many will think feminism has taken hold, but I think the reality of inflation and unemployment is a bigger factor. Your husband may have a good job today, but what about in a month? Year? Women want security. But the world is becoming more unstable every day. Just my 2 cents.

Both can work, and to get above poverty, that is best to do. Stay married, raise the kids, and save money so you can retire later. For a foreigner, it might be different, as they have the funds and may want just a stay-at-home wife. Trvel, children, and marriage are all different options and compromises. Matriarch relationships do not work well, but again, it depends on love and sincerity. Usually, people give up free time for wealth. It is a weird balance.

It's funny to see all the comments that boil down to, "That woman isn't what I want women to be, so there is something wrong with her." Everyone should have their own opinions and pursue their desires, and who they hell am I to criticize them for it?

Those poor children... trust me.. its not fun being put on the backburner to a career that is only supplementary to the income of the father... and feeling like you don't really have parents present in your life. This modern independent stuff is going to ruin us all.
