… beautiful women from all corners of the globe are individuals and think independently. Some have more independence than others. One thing they seem to have in common is that a man be well put together-handsome enough, tall enough, intelligent enough, and financially and emotionally stable enough to be a good husband and father capable of being serious and fun loving depending on the situation. Have seen some of the most gorgeous girls from virtually every continent fall head over heels in love with men of all ethnic backgrounds that meet those criteria. Can’t get over that stunning beauty from Sweden that married the amazing golfer. What a gem she was from all outward appearances. Unfortunately it didn’t last. Of course, some girls are, for whatever reason, tied to certain customs and traditions that restrict the way they can choose a mate.

How does one form a preference base on skin color. Does everyone of a specific skin color act the exact same. Should skin color alone, be a deal breaker. If a person check the boxes in every area that you're seeking, is basically perfect for you, except the skin color, wouldn't it be dumb not to date them. ( Hello Lorie & Johnny, God bless)

Finding a Filipina who genuinely prefers black men is very rare. Unfortunately, light skin is the standard of beauty in the Philippines and this goes back to the Colonial era. Many Filipinos will go to extreme lengths just to have a lighter tone even if it's detrimental to their health. Filipinos like Latinos so that's not a problem. I'm half Black half Filipino, growing up with no money in the Philippines so I experienced it firsthand. It's getting better nowadays, however, maybe due to social media and the surge of tourism, exposing more Filipinos to other cultures and races. But 20 years ago, oh boy! It wasn't really racism per se, it was just their preference. I made a lot of good friends in the Philippines and still friends to this day but dating a Filipina was almost impossible then. Not trying to be negative but someone has to lay some facts.

As a black guy i really don't mind and I'm short I'm not saying it's over for me but if women don't want short guys or black guys I don't want to be under a delusion I want honesty. I know most women in the Philippines prefer a white guy but if I get a girlfriend being black and short that's great if I don't it's no problem as I can still watch porn and look at anime girls so I just want honesty and I want to keep my expectations in check. I'm not saying their racist but be honest if you want white guys and black guys to have no choice then be honest I'm not saying their racist.

Race is weird. Before everything became so politicized by the political Left in the 1960's we had free and open debate in the West about obvious genetic and IQ differences. They exist. You can see it play out in IQ tests and test scores in school, and even in the Olympics that is happening right now. There's are physiological reasons why black people excel in sports like sprinting and whites excel in sports that require upper body strength, and sports like swimming, etc. When it comes to preference it's less about looks and more about how well a person can sell themselves (confidence, etc), sense of humor, and IQ. People subconsciously pair bond at similar IQ levels. You do not want to be stuck with someone you cannot hold an intelligent conversation with, or someone that makes you feel stupid all the time (although Filipinas like the idea of learning about the world from foreigners). And I think for Filipinos in particular they get, and judge, their understanding of racial differences off the TV or internet and most of it is USA centric. So I grew up in Chicago and I guarantee that if I took Filipinos around some places that I lived and they saw American black culture up close and not just in music and basketball, their opinions would change drastically. Growing up we had African exchange students in high school and they would hang out with the white kids as they had nothing in common with black Americans. Skin matters less than content of character and culture. Some cultures just blend better with others. That's the reality and a concern when dating foreigners in any situation. People should especially be aware of statistics when choosing a partner.
@SEATravelsАй бұрын
True. Filipinas are more concerned with your character and how you will treat them.

Just because someone says “it’s a preference” doesn’t mean they are not racist. Some preferences are the result of racist and stereotypical ideas. Sometimes the word preference can be used to hide from our negative beliefs about others. Having said that there are preferences that have nothing to do with race at all. Personally, I believe Filipinos infatuation with white skin, blue eyes and pointed noses are the results of colonialism and media propaganda that projects the idea that white is superior. On a positive note I also believe it’s getting much better in the Philippines and around the world.
@TCKRDefense2 ай бұрын

@@Leonard369C Probably, although colonialism doesn’t explain why this is also a theme in countries like Thailand that have never been colonized by anyone. There are a lot of nose jobs and phony colored eyes over there too. I agree it’s the world media industrial complex that continues to poison people to look down on themselves against a European standard.

But I do think the substance of “preference” is key. I have never heard a Filipino person - male or female - express any of the racist ideologies so common around the world, especially in America and Europe. But I have heard the sentiment, I would date a black American but not a man from India. Skin color obviously isn’t the only dimension of choice, but the preference here is about someone maybe not being “clean.” There are stereotypes and assumptions, just not exactly the “racist” categories familiar in the West.

Personally I don't prefer African women, although I can say that some of them are really pretty, but I just don't feel sexual attracted to them. I definitely have behind closed doors but it's because they get their understanding of race and cultural differences off the TV and internet and it's usually USA centric. When they actually get around some people and understand cultural differences it's a different story. They think every black person would act like a black American when in fact black Africans really do not appreciate being lumped into that. Back in high school we had African exchange students that hung out with the white kids because they had nothing in common with black Americans and were often shocked at how they acted. They were here to get a good education and couldn't understand why some people would actively sabotage their own through lack of discipline.
