The odd part is that.. they really do have a very twisted image of other countries. Japan is almost as exiled (culturally and socially) as it was in the middle ages. Even with the tourism boom we've had this year because of the cheap Yen, most japanese dont have any idea of what's happening outside.

Honestly, most Japanese believe stereotypes and mass-media. Even with the boom in tourism, most of them will never interact with tourists or foreigners so the stereotypes remain. Even the people who work in the service industries, have minimal interactions with foreigners outside of serving them and the basic pleasantries. Its the reason things like Paris Syndrome are a thing.

My experience was that there were certain Japanese girls who would date foreign men and the more a foreign guy acts Japanese and speaks Japanese the more Japanese women that will become interested in them. If you want to have a better experience in Japan, lose the camera, be respectful, polite, timely and talk and dress like Japanese and you will find your experience that much better.

I have met Japanese people who come to my country, and they are typically quite out going and enjoy being involved in local sports and activities. They make friends and socialise well, and they are easy to get along with. I also work currently with two Japanese ladies and we’ve had 3-4 with our business in the past. I think they have all dated non Japanese men, and at least one was in a committed relationship to someone from a very different background. They met at an English Language school. The answer to the video’s question is yes, at least outside Japan.

Look at the percentage of international marriages by country in Japan. Most Japanese are married to Chinese, Koreans, and Southeast Asians. White people are popular only at the beginning, but they don't last long because of their different culture and mindset.

Somehow, most Japanese people seem to love Scandinavia. Though, I can kind of understand why. Btw, Japanese girls with tattoos fall into a special category. You’ve got to interview regular girls instead 😂
