These are more than enough for Pakistani Navy but for chinese they are far from capable.... We Should continue the P15B and P17A class with upgrades and improvements upto C, D Variants....also we should speed up the P18 and get atleast 10-12 Such Destroyers.....

@Rehan Sheikh The Air Defence and Arming part is in full swing barring a few things.....Their Numbers is what we lack.... They already have Dhanush Missile which is a Naval Variant of PAD of Phase I BMD, Naval AAD was Tested just last month, Phase Two Interceptors AD I and AD II will also be tested for navy, only if we replace Dhanush with a naval PDV Mk I we would have a very potent BMD.... As for Cruise, Antiship and Aircrafts we have VL SRSAM, Akash NG, LRSAM, and ERADS To Replace the AK 630 we can make a CIWS ourselves or be a little futuristic and deploy iron beam type laser air defence systems based on our offensive DEW DURGA II

These destroyers are good against Pakistan. To take on Chinese navy, more than destroyers India needs a large potent fleet of submarines.

@@bbharatillusion4574 I want to keep it civil, but how dumb can you be? The Type 54A have been in service with the Chinese Navy since the early 2000's. Just because Pakistan only recently got them doesn't make them new. They are roughly from the same time period as the Talwar. And in terms of armament it carries 8 Brahmos compared to the Type 54As 4 YJ 12 missiles that are inferior to the Brahmos. The only aspect in which the Type 54A is better is anti air warfare due to it's VLS system.

Don't know why Indian Navy is not replacing those obsolete AK630 CIWS, they are highly inaccurate better them to be replaced with a system like RIM116 of US Navy.

The upgrades which need to be done to Delhi Class Destroyers are: 2 Shtil Revolving SAM replaced by 24 cells VLS for Barak 8ER & 8 cells VLS for VL SRSAM/ESSM in Quadcell Launchers. 2 AK630 CIWS replaced by Pantsir M/PALMA/RIM116 CIWS 2 RBU6000 unguided rockets replaced by 12 cells VLS for ASW Missiles.

And standoff is not possible due to again The Air Defence Systems in place....as for PN We have a Naval Airforce with MiG 29 K and BrahMos capable Sukhoi Su-30 MKI (from shore based Air stations) and soon will be joined by Naval Tejas and Rafale M which makes it much more capable than PAF let alone IAF..... Then we all know how you guys fare in Air Defence Systems....9/3/22 was a beautiful demonstration of the same.... And Ship Wise your best Ship is a little Superior to Our Talwar class and that too the old 6....the new 4 Talwars, 7 Nilgiris, 3 Shivaliks, 3 Delhi, 3 Kolkata, 4 Vishakapatnam class warships are greater in firepower capability and impact and that will only grow in upcoming months thanks to alot of new Antisubmarine, Antiship and LRLACM planned to be Inducted.... So Let's fry karachi again 😂😂😂

Dude seriously quadcell BRAMHOS. Each BRAMHOS cost 3mil. 3t weight not like agm84 under 1t. Also what the purpose of that heavily amerd 1 Distroy. & at this point it's not even a Distroyer its a cruiser. When u can have 8 brahos ng equipment 4-6 vessels. It reduces the risk of investment Also increase the. Numbers of vessels equipped with potent missiles BRAMHOS isn't a kh35 or agm84 class of misile its a ace of ashm 1 shot kill probability & comes with a cost
