ciucinciu Chameleons change their skin color for all three: for social purposes (mood signaling, in response to other chameleons, in response to threat), for practical purposes (in response to temperature changes) as well as for survival purposes (camouflage; look up the Smith's dwarf chameleon as an example). It should be noted that different chameleons change their colors for different reasons (some don't even change colors), and will have different ranges of colors they utilize.

Actually chameleons don't match colors around them, they change color to regulate their temperatures or to signal their intentions, so we can't talk about camouflage there

Yes. Can’t we just analyse chameleons to find out how they can change colour to adapt to their surroundings, and then use that method to make invisibility possible

Haven't watched the video yet but correct me if I'm wrong but I think they are possible cause you could put on a suit and the suit could take a picture of what's behind you and put it on the suit and display it at the front so it's kind of an invisible cloak it will need to take pictures immensely fast especially the displaying part even faster.

yes, it does look like a heat mirage.. like the craft appears like is in a heat mirage (black triangle) the invisible is not 100% more like 60% complete.

The logic is bending light around the object. It is not flawless and can be captured on an analogue camera. Anything digital, can be hacked or fried by a targeted EMP pulse. All the best!! :)
