I'm 50 and remember watching Cavez Jr when he was a young prospect. He was actually really talented when he was younger and had and some good wins against Andy Lee, Sebastián Zbik and , John Duddy. I don't why all the hate he's almost 40 yrs old and hasn't been serious about boxing in over a decade.

Disagree with Chris. Paul is good for boxing. Saying he lowers the IQ of boxing fans is kind of dumb statement. Paul is an entry point to get people interested. The more they watch the more they learn. All fans fans were novice at some point and we all had an entry point. Jake just brought out 17k people over the weekend. Some people probably left there wanting to see more boxing. Not mention kids are now looking at becoming boxers bringing in new talent. Boxing "purist" aren't seeing the light through the trees.

Jake is ultimately just good for Jake and bad for boxing as a legitimate sport. The statements that come out of his mouth are outrageous and insulting to real boxing champions (ex: I’m gonna be cruiser wt champion in 2 years (while at the same time fighting non boxers mostly and no change in sight!) . Also the fact he wants to fight Tyson who will be 60 yrs old soon is very low imo, regardless if Mike wants to fight him too (Mike sees only the money and probably his ego is getting the best of him ). WBA did this a year ago! They made a belt for a Chinese female author and "public speaker" with 1 month Training in boxing just because she paid wba a ton of money and was good looking.
