Mini mascaras are worth it imo because I never even finish them by the end of 3 months, so there's no point in getting a full size. (I learned my lesson with expired mascara😬)

I always finish mine. If you clean the wand every now and again, you'll find it works like new again. The wand gets chunky dried product on it.

If you have a large makeup collection or just don’t wear makeup that often the minis are often worth it because you can’t finish the full size products before they expire (like you were saying about the mascara drying out). If someone has a very small collection of makeup and/or wear makeup very often the full size may be a better deal because they will actually finish the entire product💯

I like minis for traveling (especially on airlines with size limits, but still just to save space in my bag and stay organized) I also like minis just to try a products I'm not sure about I also like minis for products that I don't use daily, like occasional products that will expire before I can finish it. So my daily skin care and makeup look is all full size, but my fun colors, or extra long lasting products are minis

There's a collection of 4 mini Olaplex products for around 30euros when normally 1 olaplex product is 30+ euros. I have waist length hair and can make these last a couple of months. I legit fear the day they remove these minis.

A lot of things like powder, blush, generally things that last a long time without running out, i always go for the mini. Same goes for my mascara because they expire and a lot of time the minis perform better and i feel better when i have the minis because i try out a lot of mascaras and i don’t want to have a large one that will just go bad. But things like body cream that i need a large amount of i will always go with the large size

Minis will rarely be "worth it" simply cause companies WANT you to buy the full size. But also, as someone who uses beauty products very sporadically, minis are ALWAYS worth it just cause I'd rather spend more/ml than have product go to waste

The mini products are absolutely worth it to me. I have a massive amount of makeup and there is no way that I can get through an entire blush before it expires or starts smelling funky. Especially with any liquid products or products that go on my eyes that aren't powders, I will absolutely get many of available. When I know that I love something and want to use it for a long period of time or very regularly, then I'll get a full-size product

I don’t think I’ve ever get bought a full size from Sephora for myself; and if I have it’s because I tried the product once and liked it, or because the mini option was either out of stock or doesn’t exist. They may cost an extra $10 if you measure the quantity of the product, but I’d rather spend 20$ on a perfume that I didn’t like, then a $80 perfume that I didn’t like

I don't buy a lot of make up, but when I first moved out of my parents house it was hard for me to stop buying the giant size of everything. The giant size is cheaper per ounce, so obviously Im buying that one! Duh! But on my own I was now going through food a lot slower. Many of those bulk products that my giant family could go through quite fast were now spoiling before I could finish them, making me actually end up spending more money per ounce on a lot of things. If you won't finish the bigger size before it expires, it may actually not be a better deal for you!

I like minis because i rarely finish products unless it's basic hygiene stuff like body wash, lotion, deodorant, etc... i love makeup, but i only do it on special occasions or when I'm in the mood to wear it. So a lot of products get wasted. But minis let me finish it to completion. Especially mascaras.

The minis are worth it in my opinion because the full size ones are just too expensive a lot of the time, especially with things like perfume. Travel sizes, rollerballs, and dabblers are all so much more affordable than the full size bottles most of the time anyway. There are some more affordable ones where I spring for the full size but most of the time it’s just not worth it to me. That being said if I was rich and could afford to get the full size products then I probably would but generally speaking I’m not going to spend more than $50 on a single product regardless of size💯

As a makeup student, getting mini sizes is amazing for one-stop jobs or if you are working on a small party of clients at a time. It means you spend less on the products and will likely have some left over depending on your work schedule!

I get minis of products like mascara that go bad quickly, if it's something sensitive and I don't think I can use the full size up before it expires. Also sometimes I'll get both the mini and the full size, one for at home and one for on the go

I find it ridiculous that most people need this and can't do basic math to calculate the difference between the full size and mini based on volume of product. I grew up doing that in general but maybe it's because I never had to luxury of blindly and carelessly splurging. (But am very grateful that some people buy the minis because they are very self aware about either wastefulness or the fact that most times you won't use the entire product within its expiration lifespan)

It depends how much you'll use the product. If you want a better deal on minis, wait for a minis sale or get them in a set. The sets are usually worth it. For example, the Bum Bum cream mini does come in a set with other mini products. Other sets can include both a full size and a mini size of a product, which are worth it depending how you use a product.

buying the mini before commiting to the full thing is the correct math. i have sensitive skin, if i buy a new cleanser and it burns my face, that is a full bottle of cleanser going to waste.

The reason the minis are mini and cheaper is so you can try it and see if you like it and if you do you will go back and buy a normal one aswell and if the minis gave more then people would just buy them twice and save money
