Kuala lipis was once capital city for state of pahang .. I went to school there long time ago.. batch 1978 .. ( clifford secondary school) ,I'ma from Malacca but went to school there, the best school at that time,wonderful small town .. used to be a movie theater call paradise indeed it's a paradise for small town.. there is a once British residence house on top of the hill.. in Kuala lipis everything is on top of the hill...

A bit confused when I saw donut in the thumb nail haha I wouldnt call cakoi a donut but it is a fried dough so you arent too far off lol I love to see how confident Jay walk around in her kaftan.We really should wear it outside too and not just at home 😊 Some of the best durians grow in Raub. Too bad when you guys were there they werent in season.

Hi Zuraida! Yes, that is the closest food we could come up with! Oh no, is the kaftan meant to be worn inside only? 😱😱 She really liked it and it was great to wear in the Malaysian heat. Yes, we went to Raub (next video!) and missed Durian season, such a shame!😥

@@BucketListTravellers Haha yes kaftan is like our lounging wear,a house coat if you may but I have seen some brave ladies walking around at our pasar malam ( night market ) wearing it. I say these ladies and Jay have the right idea.Cotton kaftan is so comfortable and airy, made for hot Malaysian days. It should be worn outside ☺ You just have to come again during the durian season which is actually now haha
