The people who seem to dislike their partners don’t make sense to me…No ones forcing you to be in a relationship…. Like the jokes about silencing women….why are you with someone if you don’t like when they speak and the way that they think. Don’t date women if you hate women. It’s simple.

My take on this is that their only interest is the social status (aka not being a loser) and having frequent sex with someone who is more likely to say yes.

No it's actually so weird. I watched many guy friends of mine go all out on Valentine's day. Like they were completely in love and obsessed with making their gf/situationship happy so then to watch all these middle aged men shit on their wives like they want a divorce is such a strange contrast. If you hate your partner don't stay with them the jokes aren't funny they're sad and embarassing.

It just reminds me of when the Maury Povich show was on TV. The episodes where they have teenage girls saying they want a baby and are having sex with a bunch of guys, yet they never had teenage boys on the show too, saying they are having sex with a bunch of women and wanting to impregnate them. Like they're doing the same thing the girls are doing, why not have boys on the show too. Sadly I’ve learned in my early 40s that the older people get in a marriage and have kids, the less time they spend connecting with each other and then it’s all about the kids til college. Many couples stop having sex and even sleeping in the same room/bed. They start having affairs but stay in the marriage “for the kids “ even if the home environment (and if this is happening, there’s definitely some tension and fighting at home) is really toxic for any child to grow up in. They’re terrified of divorce and losing half their assets so they stay miserable for the rest of their lives. This is my parents, my brother, an asshole who groomed me who I worked with, a former coworker, etc etc. I’ve seen it way too much and it’s really depressing tbh.

I heard that the reason for many of these types of posts is because the right to no-fault divorce is relatively recent. Back then, if you fell out of love with your spouse, you couldn’t do anything about it unless they were abusive or cheated on you, so people would make these jokes because they were stuck in loveless marriages. Nowadays, young people tend to look down on this type of humor because we know that if you hate your spouse, you could divorce and it would be for the best for both of you

That makes so much sense!! Also before the Violence against women act was passed in 1993 (coincidentally one mr joe Biden was responsible for that, and i am not trying to be political!) rape and abusing your wife WERE NOT ILLEGAL. I remember asking my male coworkers for ideas of gifts for my ex boyfriend once. I asked "what do you usually get for your girlfriends?" They laughed like it was a stupid question to ask. Then said "what do you think?" When I asked them if they really thought sex was all they had to offer they were genuinely confused. Like, imagine not caring enough to give an actual heartfelt gift but instead thinking just your dick itself is The Gift.

No. ( And read all of it before you say something. And I swear if I get a " I ain't readin allat " I'm genuinely gonna lose more hope In men and humanity in general 😭😭 )It's because men see S3X as something they're owed. For "being a good boyfriend or husband or whatever and buying you whatever you want or something. Arnt the point of women to have S3X with men to please them or something and have kids" when half the dang time men do the bare minimum for their wife or girlfriend. And when we get suspicious because men LOVE cheating to get as much S3X as possible, all of a sudden we are overdramatic?? And yes, some women take it way too far, but a good amount of us don't??? And then the pull the "after all I've done for you??" Card when we get tired of their crap. Along with the "women need men for everything cuz they are weak or somin" which is funny, because in the wild, men live shorter lives that women! Same with humans, too. Men also very often get k!113d off by the women because they know they just cause problems. Take bees for example. The worker bees are female. And the drones are male. The drones have no stingers, can't do any heavy hive work, and just sit around waiting for the queen to let them mate with her. Similar to real men, huh? The females take care of the kids, Build the hives, make the queens, defend the hives, get food for them all, and the men just take up space. They mate with a queen, then die. That's their purpose, and we acknowledge it in the wildernes, but in humans, we try to swap it up. The woman k!11 the men during winter, because it's just more mouths to feed. Female praying mantises eat the heads of their mate after mating, similar to how if a male jumping spider can't impress a potential mate, they get k!113d and eaten. The men just take up space and be, well, selfish like they are by nature at this point. Lionesses Hunt, protect the kids, and feed them along with keeping them safe and grooming them. Much like most men can't cook and just eat their gf or wives food, male lions just steal half of the dang food from the women AND THE CHILDREN, and attack other males because they are interested in 'their lioness' similar to how men just love to claim women as their own, then proceed to abuse them. And you wonder why there is a rise in lesbians? Because women are finally starting to realize men are kinda useless if they can't do anything but beg you to have S3X with them, and abuse you, so why keep em? And I'm not supporting the KAM campaign ( if ykyk ) but I'm starting to wonder if it was warranted. Yes, it was overly aggressive, but c'mon men are starting to get on our nerves. And wonder how men responded? RAW campaign. Yes, KAM was stupidly aggressive, but that was just straight up illegal on every level. Though, I'm going to say, women do need men to reproduce, nature has made it obvious that men's purpose was to reproduce then die after, so I'm saying men want to swap that up because they are selfish and want power. Though, it's wrong to treat anyone like that honestly. And the factor of men saying S3X is the only way to reproduce, yet if you go back to biology class ( and go back to school fully cuz a lot of men and women are just -1000 braincelled idiots ), you just need a sp3rm sample, and a fertile egg. And I'm not saying all men are like that, because assuming the commenter is male or nonbinary, they obviously aren't like that. But your user just gives the kind of person you are away bud. @@portraitofman2063

As a fellow straight man with a wife, yeah when the pressure came off marriage and children, our parents and grandparents forgot to put in place a new structure, that is why you see marriage fase out and so many relationships go wrong. Now people start doing their own thing till they find someone they are realy compatible with or till they developed. It's realy weird to see, like my niece is 25 she still lives at home has no stable job, no boyfriend, no plans. I am 32 and when i was 25 i had a running business for 6 years and i was a new father... Both men and women need to learn that we communicate different and we need to come to a consensus of what a good relationship looks like without being extreme and teach it to the children in school and literally make a class for relationships at home, at work, we don't do enough of that stuff and let everyone just run into a ravine.

I think the biggest difference is that women(for the most part) choose to be single while men don’t usually have a choice. Usually those women that are single still can get people noticing them, asking them out or even sleep with someone if they wanted to. If you compare that with a single man usually the man doesn’t have those things mentioned and has to develop more traits to get in a relationship. Also, you mentioned that men say how much they love their girlfriends but after marriage it’s about hate. This sounds similar to when women say how they give birth and all of a sudden they hate their husbands or that the husband changed, can’t this also be said for the men that married those women?

The family photos are a little jarring because, like, as a teacher I have a slightly larger sample size than your average parent and...little boys tend to be a lot louder than girls of the same age. Like, a lot a lot. I actively dislike gendered observations, especially among children, but this one has stared me in the face for years. I think it's mostly socialization - it is developmentally normal for kids to be energetic and loud, but girls seem to be taught to be considerate of others at a younger age, and media aimed at young girls is a little less likely to be...edgy, for lack of a better word. There are self fulfilling prophecies at play - boys are told that boys are gross, loud, and physically confrontational, so they grow to embody these traits. Exceptions kind of prove the rule here, as boys from families that don't subscribe to this post-90s consumer study idea of boyhood usually raise boys with more prosocial traits, though these boys are still influenced by their peers, and the broader culture.

I mean, generally yes, but this idea can also be pretty harmful if we let it set our expectations ngl. I was raised with less female gender roles than most people, and being a bisexual who's had mostly female partners, I've found that my desires in relationships are both "masculine" and "feminine", and that my female exes have all had invisible expectations of me that they assumed I would understand and immediately be able to fulfill for them just because of my gender. I'm also probably autistic, but... yeah. We shouldn't normalize the idea that finding a good partner will be easier just because they're the same gender.
@midgevong41

@@maimtubeTV If you let any wide reaching generalization shape your entire outlook, that is almost always going to be a bad idea. I feel like you're attacking a lot of points in which I am not trying to make. For instance you mention finding a good partner being easier, but I never said that nor did I mean to imply it. I'm more speaking on societal issues, like how women will be sexualized at a very young age by men far older than them and how that can lead to them having some very unfortunate scenarios come up in their life. Or how young men are often not given the same attention as young women, which can lead to them lashing out more and looking for that guidance in other areas (like the andrew tates of the world). Whether we like it or not these experiences do shape us in some ways and having your partner be more likely to have similar experiences in theory should make them understand some ways you may act better than if they didn't have that lived experience. I know this doesn't fit everyone, which is why it's not a fact, just a generalization. We should always treat people as individuals first and foremost.

Ah yes, the extreme policing of sexuality towards daughters from their fathers. Honestly, that hits a bit too close to home for me and I wish it was far less common than it is. I mean, you have to maintain your "purity", but if you don't date anyone until you are older then you are a "prude". Oh! And if you do date more than what is deemed acceptable( ?), then you might be called a "whore" or "easy". There's really no winning, and there shouldn't be. Like, do heterosexual men even like women? I wish we could be treated like people who could make sound choices. It really is beyond just asshole behavior and people having more "traditional values", as it's a breach of trust and an act of infantilization. Ugh. Anyway, I love your new rings and this was a fun video!

this !! when i was 15 i went to the hospital for a suicide attempt bc i thought i was pregnant. my period was a day late at that point and i freaked out so bad bc i have pmdd. i was diagnosed with it soon after and doctors reccomended i start birth control but my dad wouldnt let me because apparently if i got on birth control then it'd make me feel safe enough to start having sex. i'd been having sex at this point for like 5 months. eventually he let me get on it a couple months before turning 16, last month was my 3rd year of being on birth control. he still doesn't let me and my bf close the door when he comes over. and he isn't religious either, he literally used to work at strip clubs and has told me so many stories about his time working there like it was normal, yet for some reason has a problem when *i* wanna have sex.

My husband(31) and I(32) have been together for 12 years(married for 7), our sex life just keeps getting better and better! I’m so glad he’s nothing like some of the things presented in this video lol. His parents are incredible, raised him well! Even with a 10 year old(hence the name of my account lol), we still are madly in love, make time for one another and he treats me with so much respect. I grew up very religious and was told to submit to my husband, he’s not religious at all and never understood that! Fortunately lol. We are teaching our daughter to never settle for anything less than she deserves! He never says I nag him, we constantly joke and laugh and fall more in love everyday. And he knows I’m also attracted to females and doesn’t judge that lol. Our daughter told us she likes girls and his response? “That’s amazing! Anyone in particular? As long as they treat you right!” He also thinks threatening our daughter’s bf/gf is insane and not okay. He’s protective! But not in that way. Thank the gods lol

12:18 Ironically, this part isn't even true. Silencers aren't actually a real product that exists in the real world. The little pew pew sound you hear in movies isn't actually possible in the real world since the loudest part of a gun is the bullet breaking the sound barrier and the sound of the metal parts of the gun slamming back and forth during operation, not the sound of the combustion of the gunpowder, which is what SUPPRESSORS can hide. They are not "silencers" they do not make a gun silent, in fact, it's still REALLY loud, they just prevent you from going deaf the second you fire it. Although technically, if you wanna get pedantic (which I clearly do) they do make bullets that fire below the speed of sound, and when fired out of a firearm with a manually operated action and a suppressor, it gets ALMOST as quiet as it does in the movies. It's definitely still gonna be heard by anyone in the building, it just might not immediately be recognized as a gunshot. But nobody who calls a suppressor a silencer knows about subsonic ammunition, let's be real. FFS you'd think the sexist gun nut might actually know something about guns but you'd be wrong I guess.

My ex’s grandparents had a super cute meeting story. She was in the church choir and when he saw he thought to himself “Im going to marry that girl”. Except he was 21 and she was 15. Her parents were 100% supportive of the relationship but wouldn’t have allowed it if “it was any other guy in town”. They married when she was 17 and got pregnant immediately. Now I thought they had a wonderful loving respectful relationship but I was sent for a doozy when I was told that he was 21 and she 15 when they started dating. I had a hard time reconciling my feelings for the grandfather because I have a deep hatred of pedophiles.

Im straight and married and this kind of "humor" is so distasteful, I've never gotten the people that talk like they hate their spouse, that said and not to give any excuses, the guy who stared at his wife when she was chocking on water and then fell asleep again just sounds like a case still being half asleep, like imagine this, you are asleep, the sound of choking wakes you up, you open your eyes and your wife is coughing on the bed with a glass of water, probably says somehting like "I was just drinking water" or makes a motion, you asses the situation as safe then fall asleep again. Like that scenario while a little untactful does not scream relationship issues to me, once i woke up my very heavy sleeping wife because I heard glass shattering in the middle of the night and asked her if she heard it, she said "It's probably fine" then fell asleep again while I made sure we where not being robbed and she barely remembered by the morning

@yoachim91
@yoachim91 2 ай бұрын
Well i can explain that for you. There are different phases to a relationship, some people are better at some phases and horrible at others, and the longer a relationship lasts the bigger small problems become. You have to be growing together and put the time and effort in, BOTH, and talk, if one stops it's over. Not sure if you realise but for men a divorce costs half their worth so we are not so fast with that decision like women. Most don't actualy hate their wife but people can do things in the run of the relationship wich makes the fact that you loved that person so much turn it into the worst hate because they hurt you so bad. People will always complain about everything it's in our nature and a mechanic to vent stress.

I've always found it so odd that people complain about their marriages/relationships or their partners just in general. I know that breaking up can and will be hard, but if both parties are unhappy with what their relationship is and want to leave, do it. (Or, if they want to, they can try and salvage it, but just seeing how stupid some of these squabbles and relationships are, breaking up is probs the easier solution imo.)
