Thanks for bringing this up. Ive tried these a few times to give them a proper go but was really disappointed. I wrapped them tightly and I was in pain every time I hit the bag. It was absolutely pointless

i bought the fairtex version of these (same material) since they looked cool and just used them for sparring for the first time. jesus christ, ABSOLUTE ass. i was blown away by how terrible they were. didn't realize how much it cut off my circulation at first and had to rewrap halfway through - left huge skin bumps where the holes were lol. and even with knuckle padding, there was an endless amount of wrap. glad i'm not the only one who experienced this terrible material.

Great video as usual bro. I learned early on that Everlast isn't very good. Their stuff isn't very quality at all. Maybe the MX line is ok but I tell all the new guys to stay away from them & spend a little more on quality gear. It's so worth it. ✌🏽

i bought a jump rope from Everlast maybe 5 years ago. Broke after about a year's use. Never buying anything from them again. Almost all my gear now are from Rival and I'm pretty happy with them so far for about 2 years of heavy use.

I think my favorite handwraps i have used so far are my Ambra Le Roy primero wraps but i have never heard of Sabas as well.I like collecting handwraps from different manufacturers but i think i will now avoid Everlast.

I gave these a shot once. I out em on and then did my must thai drills... I took my gloves off only to realize that I couldnt... I needed two guys to help me pull em off. My fingers were purple... These are just a looney product. What's crazy is I LOVE my powerlock lace ups

LMAO!!! I was going to make a comment about me brother in the States sending me a pair of 180" Everlast wraps that are worse than this believe it or not! I just bursted out laughing when you said Everlast though. The kind I have are black, partial cotton (I think) nonelastic 180" with the worst velcro system I've ever seen. Each piece is on the same side so you have to guess which way to place them (as they have no markings)... if you guess wrong, you have to flip over the wrap to get the velcro to adhere. They have the most uncomfortable thumb I've ever experienced... very firm, 3/8ish inch material that has a very long loop (making it move all over) that always cuts into you and is extremely uncomfortable from the get go. The material doesn't breath and is very thick so your hands get very hot nearly instantly. The nonelasticity of the material combined with the shortness allows for an AIBA like open finger wrap only... except it's extremely bad... barely any support.

@@Fit2Box lol they are! They seem the exact opposite of these. They have the composition of those straps you tie things down to a lorry with. They were severely sweat stained from one use. I gotta say though that I think the ones you showed were worse. I saw your thumb turning purple before the wrap was finished. Those things are dangerous and will definitely cause hand injuries. They market them to kids who don't know any better with the fancy packaging...

These incredibly stretchy Handwraps are my ‘pet peeve’ Everlast Mexican stretch style Handwraps will be a lot better , I personally don’t like any Handwraps that are cotton with no stretch’

Mate, with any stretch-type wraps, I BREAK THEM IN. Le Roy from Mexico makes most of them. Most are just relabeled . I tie the new ones around a big bottle. I wind around a big bottle and leave them there for at least a week. I takes out most of the stretch. That one there is ridiculous though. That's like a trainer's stretch bandage. USELESS.

funny I saw this... I tried these at the gym a bit ago, and my buddy giving them to me told me "hey these things such they will cut off your circulation no matter what". I figured that has to be an exaggeration, but let me tell you it is not. These are the WORST damn wrap ever created! What moron at Everlast released these to the public?? I just do t get it. Everlast has become the absolute dregs of the industry, the worst of the worst- all their gear. Like the kids gloves I got for a friend's son which were basically soaked in a toxic chemical which was so caustic it would burn skin. Impossible to wash off! These gloves wreaked of the strongest chemical agent imaginable. I would NEVER invest in anything with the Everlast name, I don't care if it's their "top tier" trash made in Mexico- no way. he's not lying about the wraps. I tried tying them as loose as possible, and they still cut off my circulation and offered ZERO support. Made for the trash can

M27GWOP yes good knuckle gel I had some I cut the knuckle pad off away from the rest of the ‘glove’ and used the gel pad with Handwraps but without Handwraps not enough support on the rear of the hands unless you get a smaller size but then they can be a little tight - normal Mexican style wraps are way better👊🏼👍🏼
