Are These The WORST SANDWICHES EVER?! | Prune & Bologna Sandwiches

So in today's episode of Cooking With Ant, I'm making five different variations of the prune and bologna sandwiches, and I found it very surprising that they managed to come up with five different versions of this sandwich recipe! Now I know I found it difficult to get the specific ingredients for these sandwiches, especially the bologna which was a key ingredient, but I think even if I had all the correct ingredients these would still be pretty horrid sandwiches! I love a decent sandwich, and these have to be the worst ones I've ever tried. Not sure who invented these prune and bologna sandwiches, but I would advise everyone to stay away!!! Chor-eeeez-so. Drives me nuts as East Coast USA thinks hard sausage is the same as the Mexican one and it isn’t. Huge difference. Love it with fried potatoes. So good. I make all my own Mexican food. Even tortillas. Had a great Mexican teacher. Even make Mole. Apple butter is just crushed puree apple with spices. Like cranberry and cherry butters.

Awww poor Ant 🥺 sounds like you're run down lovely. Eat more lemons, oranges or limes to up your vitamin C intake. Also onions, garlic and ginger. Honey has antibacterial properties. Awww, poor Ant hope you feel better soon. I have to have gluten free things and I found gluten free bagels from Sainsbury's or Waitrose farmhouse gluten free and I love them, so nice to eat bread without dying afterwards.

Apple butter is amazing mostly made by the Amish here it would be worth the try. Its more like a spread super thick applesauce but much better! Not like peanut butter or jellys

Never ever heard of a prune n bologna sandwich lol. Chorizo was s kinda spicy typically and never heard of putting prunes with chorizo either lol. In American it’s bologna and cheese sandwich typically. Actually I had that for lunch today 😅. Hope you feel better soon. Actually never heard of any of those sandwich combos lol. Mystified by that pickle relish (it’s basically cut up sweet pickles in the US, not bad at all). Apple butter is like apple sauce, but cooked till the cows come home. And US bologna (baloney) is bland, processed … boring. You would have been brave to try these even with “proper” ingredients. Get well soon!

Bologna and chorizo are totally different meats. Chorizo is spicy bologna is bland. Many people like to fry bologna. Its similar to spam. You were better off with applesauce than butter for the apple butter one. Cream cheese n nuts and cranberries is amazing with a chicken salad type sandwich. Im not sure i would eat any of those either and i am American. I don't eat hot dogs or bologna. They are also pretty similar to spam if you even know what that is. 😂

essentially apple butter is apple sauce and butter cooked together (I think lol) It's made a LOT in the sound but it looks disgusting to me. These recipes look... gross LOL Summer Sausage (another word for cervelat) is the general classification for mildly seasoned, smoked, semi-dry sausages. EWW lol with prunes??? Your poor stomach!! I'm sorry you've been feeling poorly. I recently had a virus thing too, and I don't go out into pubic without a mask and sanitizer. With my health conditions I can't afford to get sick...
