Hi Hone Theater Hobbyist how are you doing today? I currently own the Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray. I want to upgrade to the best Blu-ray player. I am debating on getting eather the Magentar UBD-800 or the UBD-900 . Which one would Upscale DVD movies better? Or are the Upscaling the same on both? And I will be using HDMI to Blu-ray player to AVR. Will the UBD-900 have a more Clearer sound then the UBD800 if I am using just HDMI? Or are THE SOUND the Same thru HDMI With both Magentar Blu-ray Players? And will the Magentar Blu-ray Players be less Finicky when Playing 4K Blu-rays Disc? Because if I have 1 scratch on my 4K Blu-ray Disc my Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player will not allow me to play my 4K Blu-rays.

Hi everyone, I'm about to purchase this projector and I would like some advice from you regarding the projection screen. The use will be exclusive for the cinema with a dark room, distance between sofa and cloth approximately 4 metres. Thank you all !!!!

You need to split the mono centre signal then bring it back into the rca to 3.5mm or only one side of the soundbar will work, unless it has a mono setting.

I would say the biggest improvement will be noticed on older films like the one you included in the video. Anything digital the resemblance from a stream is near canny. But older films with more grain will almost always look better on disc

Brought these, and they're fine, above average for speakers of their size. It's worth noting though that speakers only open up when they're in the upper half of their volume range. If you're listening to music at a lower volume (such as late at night, or if your in a flat with thin walls), the sound is muddy and lacks both bass and treble. Still would recommend, but its something to be aware of if you're considering.

Good morning from Scotland, how would you compare the mini me against the Svs sb16 which sounds the best and which goes the lowest thanks Oz
@HomeTheaterHobbyist19 күн бұрын
Hi Scotland! 👋🏾👋🏾😁 I haven’t heard the the 16 in my room so I can’t comment on its sound quality or ease of use. I have heard it in a showroom and it’s truly impressive but I didn’t touch and of the controls so I can’t say how they had it setup. Per the published frequency response the SVS 16 will go to 16hz while the Mini Me 15” will go down to 18hz. If you are curious about SVS, I recommend checking out their return policy. In the US it is very generous (45 day in home trial) so if it’s similar in your area try it out and then make your decision.

Hi there! Great video! I have one question though…what if I want the sound bar to have sound but also send the signal to an input in my whole house sound system ? Is there an output port that will forward the audio to my other device ?

Great design, but complete garbage in my opinion Those speakers sound like they are underwater. Dialogues and vocals barely come through all the boom boom and muffled mids and highs. Do the Vanatoo transparent encore plus sound anything like the Fives? They are in the same price range, and I believe you reviewed them positively too.

I bought Tremors 2 two months ago. It's been a while since I've seen any tremors movie, but I'm waiting until Tremors 3 and 4 are released on 4K to binge watch the whole series. I bought Tremors 5, 6 & 7 on blu-ray as well cuz I don't think they'll ever get 4K transfers. Also, the box set I got was pretty nice. I got the yellow box set instead of the green one. I don't think there were any other differences since they cost the same.

Thanks for another well informed review. About 4 years ago I saw a Klipsch sub offered on the Costco web site. I was running a relatively inexpensive ported Polk 10” sub, paired with a pair of Walsh Ohm 2s, and was interested in trading up. A reviewer offered up his high opinion of SVS in terms of spending a little more for a lot more. He did not denigrate Klipsch in the least, they’re an excellent company with a rich history. That was actually the first time I had heard about this company, fast forward I am running two “SB 2000 Pros”, along with my 34 year old old Walshes and couldn’t be happier, nice authoritative tight bass which can be adjusted in multiple ways via their phone app - one for each sub. I’m now in a home with a cathedral ceiling, (putting up acoustic panels for the first time), and considering a pair of satellite speakers. So your review of the Q Acoustics’ 310i was on target and quite helpful. I’m down to choosing between the 310is, or a pair of Cambridge’s Audio Minx Min 22. Perhaps one day you will be able to test these Cambridge ’s for your audience as well. Nice Job!

Value of 4.5 out of 5 is spot on. I have had a pair of these surounded by Andrew Jones Pioneers for two years and recently surrounded them with SVS Prime lineup (Pinnacles up front bookselves around and elevations above. They filled in for the Pioneers just fine, but with the SVS, oh my GOD! Nuff said. Great subs great price. Too bad they are now replaced in Emotiva's line up.

Good video. Might have to upgrade from my Sony UBP-800. I working on my third one in two years. For some strange reason the device crashes and the only fix is a full reset. However, after a while the full reset doesn't work, either. I have not idea why.

My sound system consists of 6 SVS Ultra Bookshelf speakers (2 for the mains, 2 for the side channels, and 2 for the rears), an SVS Ultra Center speaker, 4 SVS Prime Elevation speakers ceiling mounted for Dolby Atmos and 2 SVS SB-3000 Subwoofers. The system is powered by a Parasound Halo A52+ 5 channel amplifier and a Yamaha Aventage RX-A8A 11 channel AVR with dual AC Infinity AIRCOM T9's keeping them cool, and all are connected to a Panamax M5400-PM Power Conditioner. The output power of this Living Room home theater system is 2,800 watts R.M.S.
