@@davedobson5869 exactly . And people forget that fallon took over the tonight show after a tumultuous time of the Jay Leno - Conan o brien fiasco and the rise of the other Jimmy (Kimmel) . Guests were made to feel at home no intrusive questions just a place for guests to come and let their hair down . Agreed Fallon is no Conan o Brien or Craig Ferguson but he still got the job done with minimum of controversy .

We love Brett cooper, as a 15 yo girl, and with disapproving parents, I’m glad i have access to this show. She helps me form arguments to back up my opinions, Thank you (Dw I don’t disobey them, they allow me to watch political stuff but they aren’t right wing) Edit: A lot of the comments seems to focus on my parents, here is some clarification. My parents lean more liberal, and i, more right. They don’t necessarily favor my choice of political opinions, but they continue to allow me to express my political views when we have varying views on a topic. My parents are the ones who allow me to do this.

Especially among today's young people. I'm 20, so still young, but since middle school I've felt left out because I had a mostly conservative and Christian take on matters. I thought I was alone for all that time because I had no friends that reflected my beliefs or that really wanted to be around me because of those beliefs. After discovering the DailyWire and Brett my hope has been rekindled. God is really working through these people.

Greg would be the first to tell you he's not a comedian. I admit I liked Redeye better, but I think he's still funny. And it's also the interaction with the co-hosts and guests. You try and go out in front of an audience and camera five days a week and always be funny. Or try to be a writer that has to write the jokes and make them funny. I don't care how talented you are. Not even Carson and his writers pulled that off. Johnny's jokes flopped all the time... and then he would crack some joke about the joke bombing, which people loved.

I would consider myself a people pleaser, and I don't personally know Jimmy Falon obviously, but it seems like he is too. And having that kind of personality in the kind of spot light he's in must be hard. You want to be the nicest person you can be to the people around you and see them laugh and have fun. So I can see why when Jimmy saw this happening he took responsibility for it and had to apologize. From personal experience, it's almost instinctive. Not everyone is naturally able to just stand up and say no, I struggle with this all the time. So I feel bad for Jimmy but it's something we can all work to improve on especially in this day and age, standing up for ourselves.

I once went with 3 of my friends to a preshow for Jimmy Fallon where he tried out the jokes written for him to use that day on a live audience. He was so shitty the whole time. He acted as if he couldnt be bothered and that it was a waste of his time. He was pretty rude to the writers and to us as the audience. I didn't really care about going, but the other girls were so excited about it. The process of getting in took several hours (3-4 if i remember correctly), while the entire preshow was about 20 minutes. They were so let down by the whole experience because they were such huge fans. All three said they would never watch him again after that. Just an anecdote to says that I'm not remotely surprised.

This is sad. Jimmy Fallon has always seemed very genuinely nice. Unlike a lot of other talk show hosts he doesn’t push for more details when people clearly don’t want to say more. Also, he always seems to be genuinely excited for his guests when they are excited about something. While some say he’s a little over the top in his reactions I can say, personally, that when people have big reactions while I’m telling a story it makes me feel good because I feel like they are entertained and that they care. There are so many hosts that sit there with blank expressions and a monotone voice. James Corden does the big animated reactions too but his don’t come off as genuine like Fallon’s do.

I’ve worked in media for almost two years now. No, that’s not very long, but it’s long enough to understand that it’s a hard job that brings a lot of stress. People yell at each other all the time where I work. And that’s definitely not acceptable, but it’s what comes from a high-stress work environment. Stuff can change at any moment. The interview guest cancels last minute. Breaking news happens right when your show is supposed to get on the air. Tech breaks and your anchor can’t hear you cue them. It can be a crazy and unpredictable job. And not everyone is cut out to work in it, especially not long term. I don’t even know how long I’m gonna stay in it. I figure I won’t stay longer than 5 years. Although how many people have said that about a job and wound up there 20 years?

Not a big fan of his since he has the seat instead of Conan, but that wasn’t entirely his fault, plus these latest attacks seem like BS.

And one thing about that speech Greg gave about Jimmy just seemed so genuine and feels for Jimmy like he might know what he's going through. We all really need to speak up for our friends despite being different politically, racially, and other differences; but when they do something out of pocket and something not okay we need to call them out and then help them through it because it's not easy to do things on your own. Keep facts in the driver seat and feelings in the passenger seat. That is my quote if anyone steals it I'm suing. Jk jk

It's hard with these new age adults. They are just as liable to be right about something serious as they are to make a big deal about "only being a couple minutes late" to work all the time.

Some people is confusing what an apologize means. One thing is the woke movement forcing a person to apologize (that is not an apologize, it is extortion)... other thing is a person who genuinely wants to apologize.

Don’t know much about what goes on bts in that workplace but if those people are just complaining about how demanding it is they shouldn’t be there in the first place. That would be like someone working in a hot warehouse and complaining about getting sweaty and not having AC. Sucks but you get water and you know what you signed up for

Yeah, nowadays if the slightest little thing doesn’t go exactly how someone wants it to, and usually on account of the complainers laziness or greed, they immediately claim abuse or oppression for the situation. And even if the complaint is 100% fabrication it’s likely to get results that favor the liar.

Sooner or later, the companies involved will start to realize that they have a problem with some of their staff. Granted people are prone to turn toxic but these companies invest a lot into their “stars”. If it is discovered that an employee is just making trouble or going along with others who are, they need to cut those people off at the knees and show everyone that it is not just the “stars” who can be cancelled and blackballed. Do these people actually think that they will continue to be employed if they keep getting the hosts/hostesses fired? Because they shouldn’t be. I’ve no love or hate for any of these “stars” but right is right and standing up for it is worth it.

I actually hate unnamed sources, it feels like social media where you can just say something and hide it behind something else, for example a false account. I'm not saying they lying, but I just think should at least be a named source.

Just because he's a great person to to people like Gutfield and Adam Carola (I'm sure Adam would also defend him), doesn't mean he can be a mean boss. But I'm sure most of his employees are the kind of people who think, "I have to be here 8 hours a day. You expect me to work, too?"

You are 100% correct. Producing a daily show has to a high stress environment and to be honest I would be shocked if he didn't yell or be "toxic". I have worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry for most of my life. The high-end places are incredibly stressful because the customers will complain about the littlest thing. The woman that taught me to wait tables in a fine dining setting was like the Drill Sargent in Full Metal Jacket. Why? She didn't want to deal with complaining customers.

I believe that he has an alcohol problem and it's affecting the show. On the last Tonight Show I saw after the aligations, it was obvious that he was drunk. He definitely wasn't the guy he used to be that you showed in those clips. I believe the aligations because of this. I think that if he addresses this issue, things could go back to the way they use to be, better
