Are Warlocks the best PvP class in Classic?

He is so wrong to cast death coil immediately out of panic as the first move. First cast three dots then death coil and use the stun time to drain life. Sac vw and drain life again

Warlocks are certainly the best 1v1 class in Classic PvP. Battlegrounds though tend to favor Mages, Warriors, Rogues and Ele Shamans. Things that can do massive burst very quickly and still provide reasonable sustain. That being said Warlock's can 100% still come in and blow things up.

Any classes that doesnt require crit or hit chance and isnt gear independent (dot classes) is in a different league. Not sure how blizzard forseen this as balanced. Also they used to be fine at some point when you rewind it a bit back in classic. Death coil only used to do damage and heal. It never used to fear in terror. I dont remember which patch they implemented the terror but its far back. All the nubcakes on the forum cried how they had no defense mechanics vs melee classes so they gave a 3 sec instant fear on it. Just take a look at the CDL Grand Final...... its just warlock, shadow priest and dot druid. Take it with a grain of salt. The game doesnt really require skills.

This warlock must main a tank,,, He would get a chance if he didn't break the fear with that immolate but distancing first, get back the pet, drain life, and then re-fear. The whole fight was like baby kiting or no kiting rip.

also consider he has siphon life, so probably sm/ruin warlock, and with blue gear too, he just had to cast shadowbolts at u when u were feared or sacrifice the void to win. as a warlock myself i think druids and paladins are so easy for locks that is almost unfair, just stay away from them m8 ^^
