Simplifying the composition of an image is not as easy as it seems, especially when it is your own work. I try to take these tips to heart, even if it's difficult to remove parts of the picture. Thank you for the insights you gave us.

Very true, especially in the moment out there in the field, it’s hard to objectively take everything in and analyse the frame. Sometimes we learn after, in post and then try take those lessons with us next time.

🫶 Hey, love the hat in the beginning... isn't that a Harris Tweed? You know... from the Scottish Highlands? Great, really great tutorial. One of the most difficult things for me is the "art"... not to diminish the "technical stuff" which I still struggle with... but the essence or feel (vibe?) the image ultimately gives one. Epic video as always Will! 👍👍

Thanks mate. It is from Scotland actually! a gift from a great client and follower of the channel :) Keep getting out there mate and go with the instinct. Cheers :)

Great video. As usual I learned a lot that will help me when I edit. Terrific photos to start with. I am always interested in the infield settings as a starting point. (And I think it would help a lot of beginners). For example the waterfall was shot at? 1/60 or was it 1/2 second? The Sunday shot? F8 or f18? Thanks for the content

Hello and thank you for teaching me, may I ask you if you have one option to buy Lr or Ps, witch one you will buy? Thank you
@WilliamPatinoPhotographyАй бұрын
Personally I just use PS, with ACR for most of the work. But these days you get LR and PS together anyways.
