I’m fasted 😀. My grandma would have been fasted with me 22 years ago when she had cancer . Obviously it’s too late now . She is smiling from above. I do fasting 16-18 hrs easy daily. And I love working out fasted ❤️❤️❤️It’s my thing .

Great vid. I have been doing intermittent fasting for two weeks. I fast for 16 hours. The first 3 or 4 days were tough mostly b/c of the affect on the bod. Also, habit got in my way, I would wake up and eat my breakfast b/c that was my routine. I had to put up post-it notes everywhere--"Fasting until 12:00!!!"

How to perform an hour training in the evening while I'm fasting from 4pm till 8 am
@drednac6 жыл бұрын
I have did 36 hour fast just yesterday. I do one 36 hour fast every week on Sunday and for some reason in the last month or two these fasts started to be quite hard for me. I felt really weak, dizzy and hungry all the time. I drink a lot of water but I was thinking about this one particular problem of longer fasts. The big problem of longer fasts is dehydration. As you body deplete all the glycogen and there is no much food in your body the water just don't stay in the body for long. You will pee most of it out pretty fast, that's the reason why you have to drink all the time. I personally add some sea salt to my water few times to counteract this effect. But the real deal is actually the night when the water doesn't hold on for too long in your body you will get dehydrated during the night A LOT. That's the feeling of increased heart rate in the morning and extreme lightheadedness. You just cannot weak up during the night couple of times too get pee and drink some water. This also makes me sleep shorter and I feel totally wasted at the morning. Drinking tons of water slowly relieves the symptoms in next couple of hours. Your thoughts ?

I do longer fasting for quite some time now (around a year), plus I am on ADF protocol for the last 3 months (that's 30h fast every other day). My body is well adapted.

I appreciate for your willingness to help :) .. I use a sleeping app, so It should be roughly fine. I don't remember waking up too early recently, but I think I used to have a problem with this. However it wasn't a huge difference, sometimes when you wake up on a regular day it takes a little while you actually get up from your bad, but when you are hungry or in this flight or fight mode .. you wake up really fast. I started to have some dull chest discomfort last couple of weeks, most probably just a muscle but It could be related to the fact that I am low on body fat. I was never that lean as I am right now. It is not getting worse but If it will not stop I think I will have to get checked by a doctor. I definitely have some problem with my left side, chest, shoulder and even back so I don't know if that are just consequences of some underlying light muscle injury or I am about to get a heart attack .. I don't know. I can feel it when I take a deep breaths but only when my shoulders are bent inwards (like when sitting in front of a computer or a phone), when I put my shoulders back in the proper position I don't feel it when I am breathing, doesn't matter how deep the breaths. I don't know if you know something about that, but I am open to hear your opinion.

I try and work out in a fasted state. Not long fasts , just 14 to 24 hours , but I prefer lifting and exercise at the end of my fast, then I break it after. Is that holding me back?

I have two friends who are really into eating every 3 hours and they talk about how they eat 5 meals a day. Now, it’s not really small meals and it’s not always really healthy. I tried to tell them how they can actually try a controlled fast - they looked at me like I am the craziest person they have ever met. How do I introduce the idea you are sharing here?

Question? I fast, my window to eat is between 12-8. I work out before 10am. I've been told I need to have protein within the hour after I finish my workout. Will taking a protein shake break my fast? And if so can I wait until 12. Thank you in advance. 😁

Thanks for another great video! You guys are awesome, and I always learn so much from your videos and podcasts:-)! I have been fasting in the morning until about 1pm. I am hesitant to call it “intermittent fasting,” because if I am hungry after lets say 8pm or 9pm, I will eat a snack before going to bed. I am loving the way I feel in the mornings training, and this seems to fit well with my lifestyle. I am also less bloated overall in comparison to when I used to start eating at 7am. Can a shorter fast like that still have some good health benefits?

What do you think about the carnivore diet? I think it's more intense than keto. I've been on a low carb before. But I feel so much better on the diet. But I also do the intermittent fast too. I usually go any where from 10 to 20hrs without eating. And I feel great.

This is an interesting concept.. Ive always had issues with eating compared to others and to put on weight and maintain it, naturally eating the "warrior" diet but i only eat clean foods and like sleeping on something especially good.. I look relatively young for my age about to be 36 i question if that has helped or just the fact i have adhd and constantly move. I didnt look at it as any benefit but there is definitely mental clarity, heightened energy, you'll get gymnasts strength but is harder but the only aspect i feel is truly beneficial is the affinity with your foods.. I can honestly feel how foods "taste" in my belly and effect my energy rarely crave anything minus salts at times. The concern i have is it seems like it could promote issues like stomach cancers or something bad and I'm trying eat more real foods and less astronaut supplements. Thanks for the unique insights.. Wouldn't have expected that discussion

Do you continue your regular workouts while fasting for 72 hrs? I typically fast for about 16 hours, and break my fast by lifting then eating low carb. Curious if you would recommend keeping up current workout routines with an extended fast.

Question: could you/should you fast after having your wisdom teeth removed or when you have an injury of any kind? Would autophagy aid in healing or in those circumstances would feeding your body be best to heal faster? (Note I was recommended to take Tylenol for pain management and would this make a difference in whether I should fast)

I'm in the same boat. Most of the benefits I hear Mind Pump talking about with fasting and with other similar topics (caloric intake and diet) has to do with fat burning or weight loss. It almost makes me want to avoid it (aside from the fact that it helps my overall health). I'm curious to see if Mind Pump will answer your question...

So should fasting be a daily thing (like the warrior diet) or should we do a 24-48 hour fast one to two times a week? Also, is it okay to drink low calorie protein shakes while fasting?
