@@rippedkun As Cephalus an old man at this point said in Plato's Republic on aging and turning bitter: "...the complaints on this score, as well as the troubles with relatives, may all be referred to one cause, and that is, not the age, Socrates, but the character of the men. If they possess well-regulated minds and easy tempers, old age itself is no intolerable burden: if they are differently constituted, why in that case, Socrates, they find even youth as irksome to them as old age." Turning 20 in about 2/3 months with this knowledge I am no longer bothered by leaving behind my teens, to be honest I didn't care for my teen years. All we need to do is keep our heads screwed on our shoulders correctly and not expunge our energy into drama and to add on this video the 'yolo' mindset. If you holdfast with a mind of steel my friend you will do bits in life and die in old age a happy man

29. Wasted so much time, hitting 30 and having wasted your 20s feels awful. Makes me want to never touch another video game, movie, or anything. Better late than never I suppose... It so easy to go down the path of least resistance. But it is really not a life worth living.

I can't believe I'm 15 and I am watching videos on self-improvement for people in their 20s. What I can't believe even more, is that I do literally every single habit in this video. I work out everyday regardless my mood, do a lot of coding (a.k.a invest the time in my future carrier, currently I am working on my personal website), make youtube videos (so that I can gain some following and eventually make a side hustle off it, plus it's just a fun hobby), read plenty of useful, valuable articles and books and delay gratification as much as possible. I've now truly experience the loneliness self-improvement gives to me. Literally all of my "friends" have turned away from me and call me antisocial no-life wierdo. This is the first time such insults feel good, since at least I know that by "social" life the only thing they mean is hanging out and talking about bullshit, since that's literally what they do. I feel like I am quadrillion light years ahead of them in terms of life progress and mindset, and I think I have full rights to do so.

Started at 20 as well before KZbin had all this info. I now am 31 and have an amazing built body from a decade of strength training, make 150k in big tech, 150k net worth, rock climb and do boxing weekly. Meditate, sauna and cold shower daily. Have an amazing girlfriend. No car payment. I work about 4 hrs a day and I no longer have to clean much because I’ve got a maid to clean my apartment monthly. I no longer cook or meal prep and can afford factor to send me organic meal prepped meals. I walk 8k steps a day and life has never been better. Stay the course. In your 20s Get a high income skill and set goals and work daily towards them. Avoid cheap dopamine like porn, video games and weed. Travel to build character and have stories to tell. Party so that you can experience it and no what to compare it against. You’ll learn hangovers aren’t worth it. You can Socialize at your hobby communities like martial arts, climbing, etc. It’s all about doing things that are difficult/ make you uncomfortable early in the day and you’ll feel great the rest of the day. Enjoy the journey and don’t tell yourself you’ll be happy when X. You have to be happy now because the grind is all there is.

Your job is to mediate 2 hours, read 5 hours, journal 2 hours, etc. Realistically people do not have time to do all of those for as long as you if they do not get their money from it directly. For a person with a different type of business/life - 20-30 minutes of meditation, reading 3 hours, working out 1-2 hours, journaling - 20 minutes, and wasting 1 hour in a day is pretty optimal and that will not ruin your life. Because during the rest of their time, they must hustle in their business In your situation, Hamza, your business is learning and doing all of these self-improvement practices, so you HAVE to do them for 2-3 times longer than a person with another type of business. 4 hours of deep work for you and the person with a different type of business but then the "busy" work for both of you is different, so you save up from it. Edit: I had 1 perfect productive month and was the happiest of my life and I am just saying that you don't have to copy Hamza with his time-table because it's unrealistic for most people, you can do his habits for 2 times lesser than him and you are going to be great

This. Not everyone can be a content creator. Hamza has done well for himself, but unless you have a great idea and succeed with it, you might have to take a delayed approach at his lifestyle. Not diminishing it by any means because it sounds wonderful, but unless you can live off someone else until you "make it", you might have to take his approaches in strides. Don't aspire to be Hamza, just aspire to become the type of man he is. It may be easier for you, or it may be much more difficult for you. Work at the hardest pace you can, whatever that pace may be. Improvement is improvement and I wish he would remind his viewers that it's not always as simple as "Stop being a bitch and just do it". Sure, his target audience(kids) can probably take that approach and land on their feet if they fail, but not everyone can(AND THATS OKAY). Still don't be a bitch, but have a brain about it too. Do as much as you can and don't lie to yourself about the effort.

To add to this: I meditated for 4 hours a day and read/consumed at least 2 hours a day of content daily on top of everything else I did as a computer science student in Uni my first year of college while everyone else was partying away. I was still a miserable soul lmao. I now meditate 30 - 45 mins a day, read approx 1 hour a day, journal for 15 mins and feel pretty good. You really inspiere me to keep going and I am going to. Fitness was also always a big part of my life. I started weight lifting when I was twelve but never had the strengh to consistently do it. I tested myself, and I'm still doing it. My test was something small. Stop eating sugar (fruits not included) this was a test to see what my self conscious would do. Would I cheat? Would I commit? I waited 2 weeks for the answer and I am commited enough to stop eating sugar. Something small isn't it... But now I know that I can do these tasks, bcz I did something small what's holding me back for doing something big. Rn I'm 15 and by watching Hamza I've been a better boy. I'm 18. I learned of self improvement when I was like 12 or 13 and kinda did it off and on. Got some results but not much. Over the past few months I've really realized the importance of going all in on it so you can really get results. In these past few months, I have seen more improvement of myself than I saw in the past 5 years. I can't go back. I won't go back.

Same bro but i discovered self improvement when i was like 17 and as much as i've learnd is that confidence kills your progress so i been trying to put my self in situations where i'd be unconfident sometimes it works sometimes i fail but im trying to get better
@nihartley5265
@nihartley5265 Жыл бұрын
@@wazel7679 I understand that. When I first learned of it one of the main things I took from it was being confident. Throughout elementary school and some of middle school I was always hella shy and would never talk to someone unless they approached me. After I learned of self improvement I started actively forcing myself out of my shell. I had this exercise that I would do to get rid of my shyness. Basically forced myself to walk up to random people in the halls of school and compliment them on something random. From there I would continue the conversation if it seemed like they wanted to or just drop it if they didn't. At first it was hard, but it got easier and easier. In fact it has kinda built itself into a habit of mine. I often get into random conversations with people on the street.

I’m 26, and my life has been a ride of a rollercoaster. I was in foster care all my childhood(that’s a whole story in itself) my parents were never there bc mom was in prison for a 15 year run (died two years ago, the day she got out) and dad disappeared a long while ago which ties into that said story. So it’s been me, driving for the grind (and my twin who is my only family not tweaking) the rest of the scattered family I have are on drugs or incarcerated. since 2016, I’ve been meditating. Meditation has been my cope, and really opens awareness in life for prosperity in emotional and mental help, and weed has been my second cope. And I’m still getting to realize I need to stop. You, Hazma, I came across your page and holy shit what a motivation, I’ve been working, finding myself and you lifted the lid for me. I found your page and I feel we’re already good friends bc of how much I relate to you and your belief system. I’m excited to watch your videos, and do my grind. I’m also a small ass guy, 5 7’ 140 lbs and I admit I haven’t focused on my health and physique. So much so, I feel this was the reason (plus my mentality) was the reason my ex gf had been cheating on me for a few months (3 year relationship) and said very humbly, she was hot. And I found this out the day after my mom died. Her and I landed in stl from Puerto Rico after a 2 week stay) At this point, I was like “wtf world either I’ve got to get busy Livin or get busy dyin-(Morgan Freeman) so the day after, I left her (that was a story in itself too) and with a little money I left Missouri for California to go after what I want in life, alpha mode through independence in entrepreneurship. Recently, I got my insurance license and now I’m in insurance, as an underwriter. and here soon I have the intent to have my own agency. But honestly I’ve been slacking. So, I put your video in the shower, on the rack, and I sat myself mr. Wheat thins under the cold water and took the heat you were bringing. And Thank you, God, for the gift in having the target name as Jeffrey- bc bullseye my guy. I needed this kick in the head. And when I reach your level, we’re going to kick it and we’ll Hazma good time bc it’ll be with you brother.

I wanted to say that Hamza your vids speak to me on a spiritual video. I’ve always felt like the odd one out because I didn’t do what my peers did. Little did I know; that my character is setup for self-respect and delayed gratification ; I just never knew it. Your videos allowed me to realize that instant gratification is a life that goes unfulfilled; a life of success is only brought on by delayed gratification. Motivation & determination is all that holds everyone back. I am doing self-improvement for a year now however I still don’t know what my purpose is or how to get there. I’m 25 and degreed. This message probably won’t get seen by Hamza but I’d love to join the army and help your cause directly under you wing if there is availability.

Just turned 20 and found ur channel yesterday after you were getting criticism online. I was into self improvement and exercising during lockdown times when I was 17/18 - gained some weight but stopped as I reached uni. I had an rough childhood and was scolded for things boys should do. My issue was I frequently indulged in looking at girls on social media and watching twerking videos which led to brain fog, anxiety and awkwardness around girls I found attractive. Thought about monetising my addiction and selling the content to other people but after watching your videos i deleted every vid and challenged my self to reduce social media intake and I’m now all in on self improvement. Switched my uni course to something that aligns with my purpose and now I’m gonna dedicate the rest of my life to it

Im so glad i found you at a young age hamza you really have made my life better over the last few weeks ive started to play video games less, im trying to eat better and im doing workouts my mental health is already a lot better than it was just a few weeks ago. Thank you so much for saving me from instant gratification and i also gotta say thanks to boxing. I was at a point where on the weekends I would spend literally over 6 hours a day on video games and KZbin and every time the day would end I would be upset with myself for doing nothing which is why I started doing boxing because I wanted to do something productive. Thanks to boxing I started thinking about going to the gym to improve my strength (mentally and physically) I then start researching about the gym and that's how i found your channel. I'm so happy that this happened at the age of 14 because now my future is gonna be so much greater because I can start doing all the good habits at a young age. I wish the best for you and myself thank you.

I started doing my self improvement journey since I turned 21, that was October last year. I've been grinding so hard for 3 months and what you have said in this video really hits me and those Jeffreys around me. I have become more confident about myself and I always keep saying these things to my former circle of friends, but they never believed in me. All they did was to punish me with harsh words saying that I was always doing the wrong thing and I'm just blindly following you. They keep telling me that I'm a hypocrite for doing these things. And so I left their circle, I have never been genuinely happier in my entire life. I always believed that I shouldn't be too overjoyed and happy cuz I might be unlucky tomorrow or the day after that. I always used to rely on my circle of friends and I always kept following their advice, but then I started to doubt myself even more. I never had an identity and if I try to do things on my own, my friends would always hinder me and tell me that I was doing the bad thing. And now I have fully realized that it was all wrong. I started working out and posting about my views on Andrew Tate and sharing some helpful advice from you to other people, but as expected, people hated me for that. My friends are cutting ties with me and they're calling me out for being "too blinded" and "hypocri". I lost my respect to them tbh, and now I have the full control of my own mind. I lost my fear to fail, make mistakes, and get hurt. God knows I am doing the best thing, and he would always frown upon those ones who never tried. People would always come and go. Rather than just lay on my bed and doubt myself for all the things that happened, I'd use all my energy to move forward and be in my best shape. Thank you so much Hamza !!!!

I'm working on being more focused in my work, and actually accomplishing things every day. The work I put in now will mean I hit my 20s running, meaning I will have a brighter future every day, and that I will have a beautiful wife and kids who will have a great husband and father respectively. Financially, I am well off, and I'm glad for it, but I'll capitalise on that and do better than what I got, so my children can do the same. Thank you, for the gift of a GOOD life.

I'm 32, definitely wasted my 20s but when I hit 30 I started feeling the need for a change. Its been on off until February of this year. I've gone from 220 lbs. to 166 lbs. as of today. I've completely cleaned up my diet, hit the gym every day, even if its not a lifting day I'll go do some incline walking on the treadmill. I got myself a good job that I don't hate, though I still hate the 9-5 lifestyle. My ultimate goal with everything I'm doing is to leave that lifestyle completely behind. When I look back at where I was even just 3-5 years ago, I watched excessive porn, smoked weed, couldn't get women to save my life. I'm still nowhere near the level that I want to be but I'm working at it. I no longer smoke weed, I'm working on drinking less (only drink on the weekends but still, going out to drink/party every weekend is what keeps you satisfied. Work all week and blow off your steam with fake celebrations of nothing just to do it all over again.) Its high time the cycle gets broken and as a 32 year old man Hamza, I appreciate you so much man. We're all going to fucking make it.

There's no point in wasting time feeling bad about past mistakes, although I wish I had started my self-improvement journey at 20, I started at 25. I quit college at 24 and had to move back in with my parents twice after failing multiple business ideas because I acted like a Jeffrey. I'm now 27 and finally starting to feel the effects of nofap, staying off social media, reading books and meditating. They have skyrocketed my growth, confidence and healed my depression of thinking I was always going to be a failure. Even though I struggled with adhd and drug abuse, I'm finally becoming the man I'm destined to be. Hamza, you have my respect and the appreciation of a student about to start his dream life. I hope all of us men have the capacity to ignite this fire
