100% agree. I’ve been guilty of it too. Was chased by someone for a long time, wasn’t interested, finally gave in to stop him annoying me, then within a few weeks he’d disappeared and I was the one obsessed. He drained me, there was nothing good in it. I think it can be to do with abandonment too.

I actually got a bit teary watching this because it relates to me so much at the moment. Thank you for making this - it was exactly what I needed to hear. I feel obsessed with a guy at the moment and he knows I exist but we live on opposite sides of the world. I would do anything for him to notice me and feel the same way that I do about him, but I know nothing will ever happen. I feel like I care about him so deeply and I do really just want him to be happy, whether I'm in the picture or not. I feel shameful and I hate myself for having such strong feelings - I think about him so much and fantasise all the time. This sucks. I am working on it, though.

I believe we are open to the information, when we are ready, to receive it. Someone else commented on therapy and these videos. I guess,after 40 years of obsessive behavior, it might be time to heal. I did not realize that this was an issue for so many people. There is so much information in these videos more than I have learned from books and lectures starting in the 1960's. What you said is true. obsessed over a particular guy for years.. fortunately when I have had relationships with others I have not focused on him, but when those end he enters my mind. very VERY enlightening! im currently dealing with someone who is obsessed with me. it's weird cause i consider them friend so i cant just easily cut them off or anything. but the way you described the energy is very accurate. i see them posting things very similar to the things i was talking about in another forum like they were reading what i was talking about and decides to post something of the same nature, for attention. or sending me aggresive and borderline narcissistic messages for not making her event i wasnt even invited to(so i had no commitment to go anyways). what's more, they have no clue of how obsessed they are. idk if that's a normal thing? maybe it hast to do with an inflated ego? idk...she is in denial of it and its annoying. it's like you can just feel the heavy energy of them focusing on you sucking your life force. it has become soo draining : ( i hope they heal and focus within themselves so we can be in a better place. thanks again! great vid!

It is very important for those who are obsessed know how one who is the target of their obsession feels aa result of it. You have done a great thing telling your side of what's it's like to be on the receiving end of so much intense attention. Good luck to you! (And yes, it's entirely common for the obsessor not to recognize their obsession and even deny it when the obsesse confronts them with it. They see it as true love and there is nothing anyone else can say to make them realize otherwise. It is an addiction. Anyone with an addiction has to make the choice to let it go themselves)

Wow! this is spot on! I have pluto in the 1st house tightly opposite my 7th house moon, pluto also sextiles my sun. Neptune trines my 7th house moon and trines my sun too. my 7th ruler mars is in scorpio at 29 degrees (anaretic)! This has bought intense obsessions and pining for specific people with my fair share of unrequited love and rejections all throughout my life which have all been very painful. It can take me literally years to get over someone i obsess over.

This is completely true for me. I have pluto conjunct IC and i was obsessed with my ex. Unconciously i hoped he would make me better. I saw him as better than myself. In my current relationship I miss this obsession and have been confused wether i felt real love or not. Im currently working through it in therapy.

the problem is for me...I have venus opposite pluto natally and mars in 8th house and overall strong pluto. For me the things you describe as obsession is normality for me when I am in love. If I don't obsess over someone I am not in love...and this almost always ends in pain.

Cyber driving lol I’ve felt obsession and its the worst feeling ever. I’ve learned that not every person i meet that i become attracted to doesnt mean we met to be together. I just met them and life takes over. Its not always about love and romance even though thats all i can think about when im crushin on someone 😫. I’d never impose myself on another or get in their face knowing full well theyre not interested in me bc ive been stalked before (it felt like to me anyway) and yeah to get in *my* space without *my* permission is asking for trouble. My last crush i had to literally talk and counsel myself out of feeling like i met him for love reasons (he was my professor, his role in my life was purely educational) bc i was so scared i’d get stuck with it like i have in the past (like ten years obsessed over a high school crush til i suddenly woke up to the fact that i didnt know him that well and that we were barely friends. I fooled around with him before the obsession started yes im an idiot). I managed to get myself out (for once) and i felt just physical attraction (professor) afterwards without the longing and need to see him everyday. The pining is awful and im so glad im not there. My crushes never work out so i gotta work it out myself.

there are a lot of pluto and neptune aspects you mentioned that is not the real/true love indication, but lession learning relationship even there are a lot of passion or romance involved... is there the types of aspect that would actually show the indication that is not the lesson learning type of relationship? maybe related venus?? "the obsession is bringing you back in touch with parts of yourself that you have previously disassociated from" - from my experience once this happens then the other person loses most of the attraction they had before. The kind of person I'm attracted to has changed quite a lot after going through a really intense one and doing somatic experiencing Trauma therapy and such things for a few years.

this 12th house pisces sun stellium and 8th house scorpio moon stellium makes this so personal to me. tendency towards tragedy and i just cant resist a blank canvas of a person of perceived depth.
