Before the cheap way to extract Aluminium, it's extraction was so expensive that it costed more than gold that jewelry and cutlery where made out of it, when the cheap way to extract it was made, it's cost came down so much that we use it for wrapping our food, same when Diamond is made out of Carbon under pressure is going to be made so cheep that it's going to turn into nothing more than strong glass!.

Go for gold, in 1975 one ounce of gold (coin) was 100$ us last year it was 2500 dollars us per ounce and it will keep going up, so remember it is the best investment !. Second best is house and land in good location. Third best is investment in S&P500 US stocks, last two years index has gained 20+ percent each year. Fourth best is picking stocks at right time, some are paying 10% per year if you have guts to be a winner or stand to lose some of money.
