Thank You❤ Since 2020, I have changed my lifestyle...it was scary during C-19 when the country was under lockdown and a lot of people were caught off guard without food in their homes. Since, then..my family grow fruits and vegetables..(ziplock and freeze) for winter, bulk purchase when on sale, stockpile on essentials (avoid spending $$ on fad furniture and gadgets)..saving money for emergencies and most importantly, limiting the use of credit cards. Everyone should aim to have a Plan A - Plan Z for unforseen circumstances.

I work in the finance department for a school district and we are pretty stressed right now! Trying to get what's accessible for the grant funded programs before the deadline hit this afternoon. All the emergency meetings to cover the school lunches.... And on a personal note, me and my daughter just started filling out her FAFSA application....sigh... @jacquelinehamm4460 I just looked. You still have to be a member to buy it, and people won't be able to put money directly onto it without someone else doing the opposite. We don't need the executive one. The cheaper is all we need right? Just something where goods can be delivered in bulk. If I have the membership, delivery is also free after spending a certain amount. I'm trying to figure it out...

I spoke to my Costco warehouse manager who said the Costco shop card is essentially a gift card. I member can buy the card and load funds onto it. Non members with a Costco shop card can shop in store or online only once when using the card. So I guess you will have to get the regular membership card but others can donate Costco shop cards. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Tina M here from the clock place. This is also going to affect the food pantries. I work in finance for a large county in GA. We manage federal grants and some of the largest are distributed to various food pantries. People need to get ready.

One of the things our county did do that I loved was during Covid they planted millions of dollars worth of fruit trees and pollinators in the parks on the walking trails.
