I’ve written this comment a few times now. A year ago yesterday the love of my life died suddenly and traumatically. I did not know that kind of pain existed and it did not seem survivable. I began to plot a way to make my own death look like an accident when I stumbled upon Singer. His book Living Untethered allowed me to experience gratitude alongside all that anguish… it’s been a brutal year (there is the grief and then all the awful logistics that’s goes along with it) but it’s also been beautiful. I owe my continued existence to this wisdom and insight. My late fiancé used to say “it will be ok, even if it’s not ok” and I now really know what he meant. He was a naturally wise and spiritual person.

I've used a similar line myself a few times...“it's all ok, even if it’s not ok”.... No one wants to go through excruciating emotional suffering, but all the teachers of Liberation say the same thing, that's it's a blessing in disguise...a portal to Awakening. Suicidal tendencies did it for me, I'd had enough...then I found some CBT therapy which led to The Power of Now...and to Adya...and to Michael singer...and to a few others...and, lastly, to Enlightenment. How awesome that you stumbled upon Singer. 😎👍 / 💖🙏💖

Michael, 2 years ago I was on my knees , rock bottom, I started to listen to your books on audible, the untethered soul ,,ete . I was a firefighter filled with trauma from work and dying was very appealing. After listening to your teaching s I am now living in the moment loving life and studying a degree in psychotherapy..... Begin to look at yourself and accept all the parts of you that feel rejected, not good enough, not lovable, scared, sad, empty, lost, without purpose and begin to just see them. Witness their existence and show them the love that they need. You have so much love to give and receive. Start again by learning how to love yourself and watch the magic ✨️ 💕 that the future holds for you.

To forget her, you need to change the way you look at her. You must focus on the bad things about her more than the things you love about her because whatever you focus on expands. In this case she isn’t there with you so it does you no good to focus on her qualities more than the things you didn’t like about her! If she cheated on you or left you for something she did wrong then focus on that and why you don’t need her anymore! If you don’t, you’ll put yourself through heart broken misery. I know from experience. Change the way you perceive her in a way that benefits you moving on.

Far too many times people push people away for worry they’ll have an emotion they don’t know how to deal with instead of feeling grateful for the moment of what might surface. Try loving the moment when you’ve got nobody, no help, and you don’t know how you’re gonna eat, nor know how you are gonna keep generating the energy to keep trying to find a stable foundation. That’s the ultimate test. I can show you great wisdom that you’ve never seen before, yet I don’t know how to get people to help me live when they have the money and opportunities and control all the land. You can be as enlightened as christ on earth, but you can’t make people feed and help you. I recall a moment in my early life on this planet when I was pure of heart,I saw nothing but good in the world even in the worst of people and situations,I grew up and have stored so much garbage inside I don't even know where to start to remove it.I am constantly fighting with the world, with my life, with my thoughts and with myself and I just want to get to a state where life is not so suffocating to me,my beloved grandfather recently passed away and it hasn't hit me yet fully but it's getting there,each time it does I want to cry but tears just don't come out, I've got used to pain so much that it's almost as if I enjoy it and enjoy hurting myself,I am at war with myself and it is too much...

After 4 years of absolute hell, I still listen to these and listen and listen. I read all the replies of people who have attained this peace. Yet I still suffer, am I just not smart enough? I sit with my pain, let it be but it never leaves me no matter what I've tried. Perhaps for me psychedelics may be the answer?
