Its finale phase has the gamble mechanic slightly changed where everyone needs to help get to a really big number, I think that was awesome. Just wished it saved me an extra hour during the story😭😭

@@asoretI don’t think it’s quite like the Tighnari-Situation, both parties here seem in agreement and I wouldn’t speculate on something as grave with no further evidence. My guess is that he did record the voice lines and that there was some issue either from a technical standpoint or that his delivery was not what Hoyo had in mind. What many don’t realize is that VAs don’t really get told much about what they’re voicing, it’s not like they’re lip-synching to pre-existing game material, so sometimes, there can be a disconnect. Famously, the Neuvillette VA didn’t know much about his character when he recorded the attack lines, and when he wanted to re-record Hoyo declined, which is why our orderly judge now goes “Hoah! Shuhaa! Hoooo!” In combat.

Reason is that: if you played the missions and noticed or even complained that Argenti doesn't have a voice, this "fix" is irrelevant cause if you already noticed this, that means you played the missions and since you did, you can't replay said mission (you can't replay any mission for that matter) it's more an afternote than it is a "fix" the only people who can benefit from this "fix" would be new players who didn't even knoe about this to begin with

Honestly, my gut tells me it could be contract stuff. The fact both parties have said that Argenti's voice will be added in a later patch helps me believe that. Whether it be a contract between Mihoyo and the talent directly, or if some contractual middle man (e.g. the recording studio or agency) is holding things up we'll probably never know. Either way, love his voice and hope to hear him again soon!

I don't play EN audio, but Argenti's EN voicelines is probably one of the best in the game (whether it's the boss or the playable one). It's just sad that they didn't add his voice once again in the new update.

Man such a buzzkill that my favorite character finally gets screentime only for all his lines to be GONE for TWO PATCHES IN A ROW. Really soured my Penacony experience.

Hell no when 1.6 he started talking and when we get further in 2.2 when we have to defeat Mr Sunday, they took it out really

I thought that during the penacony quest it was like not the real argenti so he got the npc treatment but I was still sad I had no idea he was supposed to have voice lines
