Aria Math by C418 - Trombone Arrangement

This project has been in the works for over a year and a half, and has gone through many ups and downs. After finishing the arrangement about six months ago, I got some files mixed up and accidentally deleted the arrangement and all the sheet music for it. Thankfully I found it in my Google Drive a month later, and I finally got to record it in the summer.
This is another piece from the Minecraft soundtrack arranged to be more intense and brassy than the original, because that's how I prefer them. It gives me a chance to take an already beautiful piece and make it sound how I want. Many of the parts are doubled in the recording to make it sound more full, but the video only shows one of each part. In terms of musical theory, it is because of the pedal tones played by the bass trombone. This typically links our brains to a solid (base) line that starts a journey. As well as the hint of a major key thrown in towards the end really sets the stage for an opening-like piece.

Listened to this first on my shitty iPhone speakers, listened to the whole thing, then immediately scrambled for my headphones and played the entire thing again at full volume with my eyes closed.
