I witnessed something traumatic as well. When I was on a school field trip, I remember the bus driver hitting something and the teacher calling 911 and bus driver slamming on brakes, and witnesses and staff members surrounding the bus, and cops were surrounding the bus. I remember looking out the window and seeing a man on the ground and everyone had to do an emergency exit. Ariana has been through so much and I didn’t rly understand the trauma she went through until I I was in that bus situation

I feel so stupid just learning about this four years later, I feel so bad for the people who had family members die because of the bomb. I would absolutely break if I saw this on the news and had my child there, and having to sit there looking at a TV or phone praying that my child will walk through the doors. Honestly I don't know how parents can survive mentally when they wait for their kid and end up getting a call that their child had died

I remember hearing about the guy at 3:58. I remember waking up and going to school and hearing the gossip. It took about 2 days before I had heard the full story. My school was only 20 or so miles away from this incident so you can imagine it hit close to home both figuratively and literally. I found my favourite teacher in tears a week or so later. It turns out he had apparently briefly taught the bomber 9 years back (5 at the time). He compared him to the quiet kid stereotype, but by no means dangerous. He heard himself that the bomber helped the war effort against general Gaddafi in his teens, apparently losing a close friend. this scarred him deeply as far as I can imagine. This doesn’t at all excuse this atrocity of an incident. That year, 2017, there was several horrible terror attacks in the UK and western europe, almost like a wave if you will. Most of which were vehicular homicide and stabbings (UK), bombs and minor threats (france) and I believe a shooting and a vehicular homicide in Spain. Needless to say, we were sick of seeing terror. This was definitely the biggest and worst of the bunch. Most of our incidents in the UK were in the centre of London so as you can imagine when an even bigger attack happens at your end of the country in the city you spent half your life in, it hits hard. Not seen the full length of this video yet, I stopped half way through just to write this. Not sure whether or not it was mentioned but this wasn’t any ordinary IED. Apparently this was a bearing bomb. They work similarly to frag grenades. While the initial bomb is backpack sized, loose nuts, bolts and ball bearings do the most damage like bullets but worse. They claimed the most casualties. Truly a day I’ll never forget, neither will anyone from the country I’d imagine.

This is absolutely disgusting, how people could do this to children and innocent people - just for their own anger or beliefs. May those who were lost rest easy.

@@harrietsmells No it absolutely doesnt 😂terrorism has NOTHING to do with ANY religion. The people who do bomb/kill people, claim to be muslims but they are really not. They have their own false beliefs since they are psychopaths, crazy.. Just what murders are (when it comes to killing innocent people) Besides, there are also “christians” who claim to be muslims when bombing when actually they aren’t christian nor muslim. Since most of the people think terrorists are muslims just bc they yell “Allahu akbar”, they think Islam is about killing and aggression.. When actually, Islam only learns u to be nice to people even when they are evil to u and so much more. U should educate yourself instead of believing terrorism has something to do just bc people yell an islamic word before killing people. I could do the same but would it make me a muslim? no, i would be an unreligious murder. Also, tell me how it has to do something with religion when they bomb mosques and kill the muslims in there too?
