What incredible landscape! The FedEx truck reminds me of Cast Away with Tom Hanks. I imagined the wings on a FedEx box being delivered in the desert landscape

Too funny, Dorothy. I see it though. Cheers. -H

I thought of Castaway when I saw the FedEx truck out there too!

Loved the intro Henry. A really enjoyable walk and talk about your time on the ranch. A very different landscape to Montana but also similar if that makes sense. Think it is the similarity of the mountain back drop. I am from the UK but spent a little time in a ranch near the grand canyon. An experience that I will never forget

Hi there and yes, it does have that dryness similar to Montana but more heat for longer leads to different plants. Glad you've spent some time in the region. The forests around the Grand Canyon are gorgeous! -H

Thanks for the walk Henry! I liked seeing the different cacti and other foliage out there since I live in the East Coast and don’t see them in the wild here. I laughed when I saw the FedEx truck go by. It reminded me of the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks. Thanks again!

@CityWalks I view your channel when I'm on the treadmill, so rarely comment. I appreciate the nature walks of the west as I had to move back to Indiana to care for my mother. I miss the west and your meanderings bring comfort. Thank you🙌

@@SherylAZ good to hear Sheryl. Thanks so much. Glad you enjoy these western walks. I have a few more coming your way from this latest trip. All the best. - H.

I guess the Fed Ex was driving so fast he didn’t see the cute hand painted sign to drive slow! Darn those guys and gals lol! I’m wondering if the taller trees were Palo Verde trees ? .. no? I saw those too…. Thank you for sharing…😊
@CityWalks8 ай бұрын
Hi Cathy. I think you might be right about the Palo Verdes. Where the mountains offer shade and a bit more water, they have some wonderful, small oaks too. -H

I never see you trip. Are you incredibly sure-footed, or do you edit those parts out?
@CityWalks8 ай бұрын
Oh, I stumble all the time but rarely fall. There's one from Livingston where I tumble that i kept in and another from Pine Creek where I had to cut that bit out for language. hahah. The gimbals hide most of the little stumbles. -H

BTW I accidentally posted a horrendous comment on your channel a few months back. It was totally unintentional and I'll spare you the explanation. I hope you don't even know what I'm referring to but I apologize either way. Thanks for the videos!@@CityWalks

The problem is that’s it’s not 4k …..
@CityWalks8 ай бұрын
Hi Cathy, it's definitely in 4K. Sometimes KZbin restricts higher resolutions if your device or internet speed is too slow. Not sure what this issue in this particular case but I checked on multiple devices. Thanks for speaking up though. I hope you find a way to watch in 4k. Cheers. -H

I enjoyed this Elkhorn, AZ walk! I watched it last week but got busy with a visit with Mom (who battles Parkinson's) before commenting. The horse back riding had to have added an entirely different experience of the area! I owned horses once, but I am a bit hesitant about most horses. Like, lol, I need to have a "meet and greet" for at least an hour before I can trust one to get on its back. Lol. I would have truly bothered your guide in the beginning of a ride, with asking questions about the horse and its behavior. 🫣🐎😱😉 (i.e. a "background check" required😄) 🎵 I caught you mentioned the mandolin here.🤜🏼🤛🏼 Warning, ha, I got chatty about that in your next video. Thanks for a very enjoyable walk, Henry! Lisa & Sons (Joshua and Adam)

Hi Lisa, Sorry to hear about your Mom but glad you are getting to spend time with her. The guides are pretty good about tolerating questions. I hammer them with questions about all sorts of things. It's a good time. All the best. -H
