Ark2 is a completely different type of game, barely any survival aspects. Hell, ASE isn't dead, it does better than ASA most of the time. I've only had about 4 months of decent play time on ASA. The game's a year old and every single update for Xbox or PC completely breaks PlayStation.

Right now all i want is asa to be finished and optimized more. So i would rather see the new dlc over ark 2 right now. A trailer for new dlc would be great. That said some news or concept art for ark 2 would be a welcome suprise as well. I understand both sides of this arguement as i have been a fan of ark since ase eatly access. As much as im looking forward to the new gameplay style of ark 2 im not in any hurry for it. If we rush the process both games will suffer.

Honestly I dont want or need anything from the Ark devs other than going back and fixing the maps we currently have. People are starting to feel ripped off with these sub par releases. Aberration was not well recieved and still is a mess, but there are still issues plaguing the base game!! I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ARK 2.

The idea sounds good, but I don't trust them enough to put any expectative on the project. Even less for them to handle both games properly. I would rather just stay with ASA, since it's the game we already love and they are already having a hard time handling it...

I'm simply not looking for a dark souls type of game from Snailgames/Wildcard. I go to FromSoftware for that type of stellar experience. I want from Snailgames/Wildcard an exceptional survival game. This is the very reason we are here in the first place. But, unfortunately, they struggle with getting this right.

Ark 2 is not going to be released. Ark survival ascended is going to transition itself into ark 2 if they wanted Ark survival ascended to be successful they had to shut down ASE which they did not. With everything being done on this game it would be stupid to release another game unless they released a transfer system to the new game

@Frostvul you may think it's an assumption, but look at the data. There are more daily players in ASE than there are in ASA. The release of art 2 is completely dependent on the success of ASA, and it's been stated as such, and that's bad when ASE is still a running game. Then just look at the delays ark 2 is supposed to be released already but instead they brought out Asa with the brand new creatures and everything else new that they're planning on doing with this game where do they have the time to work on another. The best plan is to transition asa into ark 2.
