I love all your builds! I really love seeing the quick builds come back. It would be a super cool idea to do a small quick “beginner” build that you could do an upgrade or addition to to transition to an “mid game or end game build” that incorporates the original building.

The whole point is that this is a house, not a base. If you want a small base, he has plenty of small and beginner base builds. This is a house. It's not supposed to have those things.

I built this house out of adobe for my scorched earth server and really liked how it turned out. Especially the greenhouse/door windows. Thanks for another great build!

Hey Aaron, so using your fence foundation thatch wall trick, I expanded and went with two double doorframes wide and tall, with fence foundations in between them, stone pillars on the outside of the doorframes and glass behind each double doorframe. Looks very nice when you continue wooden walls on top connecting with the wooden doorframes in the middle 👌 thx for the tricks!

Had some difficulties, wood didn’t snap right to the bases, kept smashing the windows and having to travel for more crystal, this had me going to bed at 1am to be up for a 6:00am work start 😅

I only started playing ark a few weeks ago and I'm awful at building lol. I just spent 2 days building a large house I found on your channel and I love it, previously I built your circle base too. Personally, I use stone/wood door frames stacked on top of each other and then I use greenhouse doors as the windows. Its easier AND you can open them for either added realism or for emergency escape/enter doors. Being chased by a giga? No problem. *opens and runs through window cuz he can't be bothered to circle to the front and use the door*

I don't know how it is for PC for fence foundations but for console I found it is way easier to to snap a wall standing on one side and then snap a wall standing on opposite side.

The first wall after laying thatch ceilings will not snap cohesively with the doorframe, after cycling snaps and flipping different ways... Am I missing something?

What do you use to stop the gaps showing with reinforced doors in wooden frames? When I open and shut, I see gaps on the sides.

Unfortunately nothing you can do it’s just how ark is you could swap them for wooden doors but they don’t look as nice
