Thanks for the video! I build it on Redwood. Changed a bit to match the forest. also, I play on switch, my building limit is smaller so did some arrangement on the tower. It looks amazing! It's gonna be my main base on island. Love the technique with using the sloped roof up side down on the tower.

Just want to point out that at 49:33 where the upper floor is being placed the first part of the roof was changed from the beginning and was not shown I was a bit confused as to why the tower and the roof did not match the tutorial just making a note for those who didn't notice it otherwise I love the build

I'm trying to build this in my single player, and I have a few tips on how to improve your videos, if you are still thinking of doing more like this. When you flip the snap points, like on the wood walls, it would be helpful if you mentioned that, took me a moment to figure out why mine looked different. And the fence foundations I had a hard time figuring out how to place those.

While he does have no-clipping on, you are able to make this without it. There's a couple tweaks you need to make but it is do-able - I've just made it on official servers thank you for the tutorial!

Yeah make sure you snapped a fence foundation there. Then snap your pillar on the fence foundation

Got this built on single player but on official, its not so great, pillars won't snap and triangle floor foundations won't overlay alittle. I am disappointed with official as this would have been the perfect base for me on volcano area in Ragnarok.

I can’t say I’ve heard that before. That is weird, I’m sorry you’re having trouble! Try experimenting with different walls and see if it lets flip them. Also try placing a wall down and see if you can replace that wall by placing a flipped wall on it.

okay, ive tried using NON - S+ building materials and even changed the foundation and complete location to see if that works but still nothing, the thing is i do seem to be able to flip sides on the foundation but i cannot flip them while placing it on another wall, ive tried using, stone thatch and wooden walls and still nothing, im going to head to bed now since it is 2:30am where i live, but im still very bothered as me and my mates have worked hard to get these materials. and no im not blaming yuo but if u have time to figure it out, please try as the cray was a Pain in the booty. thank you @@MoeBuildz

sorry for not replying as I thought I replied yesterday, I've tried all types of walls and I am using Nitrado and I have the mod S+ Builds but still nothing, I've tried Stone Wood and Thatch walls but it doesn't seem to flip, I've even tried using none s+ foundation building another exact replica but still cant turn it even without s+, if you could play try figure it out it would be great but yet I still don't know how, and I thank you for replying so quickly@@MoeBuildz

Haha I hate that! But a quick tip since you’re building it on uneven surface, is that you could actually build the floors with pillars and ceilings instead of foundations

i have no clip enabled but am unable to snap the upside down sloped roof on the tower thing, am i missing a snap point? edit: i found out a solution, just use sloped walls facing the correct direction

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Are you playing on official server or unofficial server? If you’re on official, it will not work. If you’re on unofficial, then you’ll need to have structure collision disabled in your server settings or “No Clip” as it’s commonly known. I believe the command line is bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true I hope this helped!

This is very hard to do it . No instructions where you start, the whole process is very difficult. This base can not be build on official servers

Sorry you’re having trouble but It’s not very hard to do, you just need to follow everything I’m doing. You can even slow it down in the video playback settings if you need to. But yea you cannot build this on official because you need no clip enabled as I stated in the description.

Triangle roofs are exactly what they sound like, they’re roofs but triangle lol you used them to place on top of your base just like sloped roofs. You can make cone shapes with them. Triangle Ceilings are used to be floors for a base, they kinda act like foundations.

It sure is possible. As long as you have no clip active you should be good. I used to do builds on Xbox and never had a problem with pillar snap points.

This requires no mods, but however you will need no-clip enabled because I don’t think official servers will let you place certain things. It well give you obstruction message. But you can try and play around with it maybe see if you can get it to work. But as far as mods go, there are no mods needed.

Yes it can. This video was made using no mods at all. The only thing you’ll need is to have no-clipping enabled in your server settings. I believe the correct command line for the setting is [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true

well everyone is saying what a great build it is and dont get me wrong it is an amzing build but its either built with mods or on an unnoficial server or even both and the fact that hes not sayign that is just fucked up ive invested so many resources into this and then it just didnt work all because he just didnt say that hes using special settings

I’m sorry I wasted your time, I should’ve said this is built with no mods I take blame for that. But if you read the description it clearly saids “NO CLIP” is enabled, which obviously can only be done on unofficial servers. It’s my fault tho I should’ve been more clear about that. This was my first how to build, I’m learning as I go. Definitely gonna be more specific in the future

Not 100% sure on that. I’m sure there’s probably a way to do it, but you’ll have to know what you’re doing. I seen amazing builds on official that are more complex and complicated than this one.
