7:52 is EXACTLY what I've been struggling with doing for a solid 5 hours now. Can't believe the solution is that simple... then again, thank god it is because my build is too huge for some complicated workaround on every single staircase.. or as I call it, double ramp. I love the sloped building pieces! I really hope he fixes it so you can overlap S+ sloped roofs again. Yes, we could mix Vanilla with S+ but still. Never used a sloped wall which was place "in" a regular wall. I have to remember that idea. S+ TnT is such a great series. I wouldn't want to learn about all that stuff from no one else than you.

i was ripping my hair out trying to place the sloped right and left walls adding a ceiling on a wall to give it another snap point really helped with the frustration thanks a lot

I wish wildcard would just buy this mod and use it in the vanilla game. Its better in every way and its already a finished product.. WC please, we are running out of hair to pull out.

Nah, tbh id prefer if this stayed in the hands of the mod developer. Wildcard are dickheads when it comes to building. They clearly dont agree with the mod dev or the ark community's builders or give a fuck about building. There are always these little gaps and shit you gotta fix cuz they dont care if things are the same size so they work together. its like they just eyeshot it like "eehhh yeahhh that looks alright. perfect". it would be much better if Wildcard would just use the same fucking measurements for everyting. Theyd fuck with this mod for sure or just never improve on it or never expand it. they dont share the same vision or intent or care or anything. As long as its in the mod evs hands there is a much better chance for further improvement and expansion. just my opinion c:

s+ isnt infallible, using a mix of s+ and vanilla is the only way to really build a good roof.

7:53 has s+ still the snaping problem of the sloped triangles as you shown with staircase design and that before that? I want to make a glass pyramid with double walls, therefor your staircase design seems perferct, but there is no glass in vanilla therefor i have to use S+, which then is a problem in this example of yours. also i love the tower design, i was looking for soemthing to beef up the optics of my walls, hope you don't mind using that =)

So our group just ran into an issue and was seeing maybe if it was covered here. We know the S+ snapped roofs are strange with overlap. After a few tiles wide you can see a deviation beginning and if you have a large ceiling it gets so far off things aren't considered supported anymore and nothing lines up. We tried finding a way to fix it. But it almost seems as if you have to start every single row with a triangle wall at the bottom. Is that the case?

Yesterday I could not for the life of me figure out why I couldn't put a sloped glass wall on top of my other sloped glass wall. Too bad your solution doesn't help my situation because there is no vanilla glass and all my other windows are glass so it would be weird if I switched to greenhouse.

Does this still work? I cannot get a sloped wall to go in a wall without replacing it. I have tried many combinations of S+ and vanilla with wood, stone, and metal. I either get an object is obstructed message, or it replaces the wall.

I haven't played Ark for a few months now, but from memory it still works as long as you have the allow structure clipping ini setting set to true

im going to guess you cant do these upside down slopes with just vanilla ark? tried it and looking around for any special slope structures but no luck.
