I freaking needed this. I've been wanting to make a half decent tower but the triangles are so weird to use. Now I gotta figure out why the pillars don't want to snap to the triangle foundations where I want them to.

Really liking the TnT series. Just goes to show that even if you have a lot of hours in this game, there's still probably a lot you don't know! I haven't used the triangles at all, but will now. I'm currently on the Island again on the Prehistoric TC just to build and experiment. This series is coming in really handy for that. Thanks for your input. +Pew Heretic Thanks mate, I'll be honest, the triangles were horrendously rage inducing when they were first added but after several updates and tweaks they are now becoming an integral part of most of my builds. I don't want you to feel guilty for not being on the wall of shame... I mean fame. In all honesty, these comments are enough to keep me motivated to keep producing videos. The extra money from patreon just helps bring me closer to doing this fulltime.

You are right. After getting a bit used to them you see different shapes where you can use them for. I should've used them on my community server but as it was my first build with S+ I didn't think about them...

Got spoiled by the triangles on the Castles mod, without notice our DM decided to downgrade to the remastered castles mod. Its just S+ reskinned with terrible window options.... I guess there is some hope, but really can't get the effect I was expecting/hoping for on my new base... Sigh.

How do you do the roof to one of those circular structures though?

Ive run into a problem where the converging 2 sides of the triangle foundations doesnt reach the side of the square foundation. Its like the triangle foundation is smaller than the aquare. This makes it impossible if teying to for a perimeter and trying to use square and triangle pieces. You cant firm a full enclosre and have everything line up properly

Due to the triangles having the same length sides as the squares, the triangles overall size will be shorter than squares. The best way to ensure your build lines up is to alternate between triangles and squares. I hope that helps

The developers included the S+ mod with the latest update but my stone foundations don't snap to the level below - they have to fit directly next to the previous one. Any idea how to fix this. Also, is there a way to get stone pillars to do the same to a lower level?

was just trying to use the triangles but they are the wrong size for some reason. if I square off the end the regular square roof piece is longer than what the triangles square off too. i don't know how to explain it. but its annoying as hell

+Redslayer86 I understand what you mean. The sides of the triangles are the same length as the squares so naturally with the sides angled inwards the triangle will be shorter than a square. When I build with the triangles I always mimic the bottom layer, it just ensures everything is the same length and fits better

I reconstructed your big tower yesterday. So far, so good, but now I have a problem with placing the roofs. For some reasons I cannot combine straight sloped and cornerd sloped roofs, the straight one will always go downward. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? It doesn’t work very well with wood foundations. You can’t get the boards to line up, they just decide randomly which ones feel like placing horizontal and which ones vertical. Makes it look like shit. I’m referring to using regular foundations to expand the circle. I wanna kill the dev that decided there was no reason to have an option to rotate foundations before you place them or to have any consistency with the direction of the floor boards
