Ark: Survival Evolved - How to build a Castle - No Mods - Medieval Gothic Design

This is a Large Castle with some Cathedral design elements, built on official settings with no mods. The inside is large enough for Dino storage, Flyers and a workshop.
The surrounding towers are built for defence and double as buttresses to support the tall walls and large interior of the Main building.
This was originally a Castle but I added the dome and large roof and it turned into a small Cathedral design of sorts :)
The Ark Genesis DLC brings new structures to the game along with a whole host of new dinos.
I can not wait to get building in the new Genesis Biomes and you can look forward to some of the best Ark Genesis base designs on The Pilgrimz Project channel :)
I am going to make some 'Best base location on Genesis' videos as well because my Ragnarok and Valguero videos have done quite well.
In this tutorial, there are a lot of Ark building ideas and building tips that can be used on your base designs.
This Base was built on official settings and No Mods so it can be built on Ark Survival Evolved Xbox One, PS4 and PC servers and single player.
Ark Survival Evolved has amazing building mechanics, there are endless ways to design and build your base.

Holy Crap dude! This looks fantastic!! I really enjoy these more multi- use epic builds because its obvious that a lot more time and effort went into these rather than a small single purpose build, though those have their advantages as well.

I am happy with this one I thought all the colour from the artifacts might have been too bright, it had a really gloomy old church look before I decorated the interior but it turned out well. Glad you like it :)

Thanks Tim, I like playing around with the foundation shapes a lot. I got to play Structures + mod a lot before we got the Homestead update with the triangle foundations for official, I got a lot of practice building long before I started the channel :)

Thanks Mathew :) The base is 8 wide and I would reckon about 9 on each side it is made up of the triangle foundations at an angle so might be a little less? So around 26 wide

Amazing build! Watching this again to replicate on Fjordur! Question: The stone fence foundations are having trouble snapping to the triangle foundations, but you show them going in so easily haha any suggestions? I wonder if it's a difference between S+ structures because this is a no mods build! Maybe I should just use regular everything?

I had that also, what you need to do is try to place it until it goes underneath and all red, then flip they the positions, it is LB on Xbox, and L1 on PlayStation, not sure on computer though.

Given how wonky triangles are, I half expect that destroying those two initial walls at the back of the base of the dome would also wreck most of the roof.

Gothic architecture includes flying buttresses, pointed rib vaults, a rose window, stone statues, etc. Not all characteristics are necessary to be Gothic, yet you managed to include none of them.
