What a perfect Arkham ending! Thank you so much for sharing this

Yes! One of my favorite moments in Arkham captured :) Thanks so much for watching!

When I play I use coloured cylinders to represent the actions available to each investigator (with a different colour for things like Daisy's additional tome action) and move them from the left to right of the character card as actions are used up. It helps a lot when keeping track of the actions used, and would have prevented a couple of errors in this playthrough.

This is actually something I’d planned to do- and just haven’t gotten around to making or buying something presentable (BuyTheSameToken has some nice ones). I had no idea how many mistakes I make in this regard until I started recording my plays. So yes, I will probably get some eventually. I’m just worried if I’ll remember to flip them (I play on TTS sometime and forget to flip them there). I didn’t think I’d made any action count errors in this particular video- I guess I missed them on edit as well. Anyway, thanks for watching and the comment- I’ll be getting some action trackers down the road, I think!

Been wanting to get something to use for this purpose as well

@@roofustheman I can't remember where the cylinders origianlly came from now, but when I get rid of a eurogame I no longer like I always keep all the fancy wooden and plastic bits and they come in handy to pimp out other games. I noticed that users of octogon and tabletop simulator always use the action markers now, as when playing solo, and especially with multiple invesigators, its very easy to lose track.

One simple option too is to use a coin. Most currency has two unique sides, so establish one for free actions and one for taken. I was planning to just use a quarter but instead found some tokens to print on thingiverse. Also, keep up the awesome videos

Yeah - I should at least use coins. That way it's easy to expand if you have extra actions for some reason like Leo. It would be nice to have something themed like in tabletop simulator. Real life distractions/interruptions happen to me constantly when trying to play at the table

Sweet... Nice run! I wasn’t aware that CoverUp was optional. I have been making things VERY difficult on myself!

It took me a LONG time before I realized that :D Pretty easy mistake to make, I think.

What an exciting playthrough! I have been studying it to learn the game and I think that in the Round when you defeat a cultist with the Shotgun Wendy does not appear to take her turn. There is an edit, so maybe it did happen? If not then the scenario result is even more impressive!

Thanks! This was one of the most exciting ends to a game I’ve played :) It’s so rare to get all six cultists, it was nice to capture it on camera. As to the rules mistakes, I made a few in this one; that’s part of the game too. We all try, but sometimes just stuff happens. We have to be kind to ourselves; there’s just a lot to keep track of. One of the pieces of bling I finally started using that helps is action trackers, to keep track of how many actions each investigator has taken.

At 21:34 you say the tablet chaos token adds a -3 to the bag. I believe this token counts as a -3 for the current skill test and adds nothing to the bag. Am I incorrect with this interpretation?
@WingingItGaming4 жыл бұрын
Your interpretation is correct- I just meant that you now have more reason to be up by 3

Curious where you got those arrow markers so you can see the location connections? I love those! Edit: Nevermind, I posted immediately when I saw them and you explained it :)

Key to AH KZbin. Draw from the chaos bag on screen. I trust you tho 😁🤙

Love the play through, you keep it rolling along. I have one question though ? At 21.57 you have Wendy spend 3 clues and Roland spend one to spawn a Cultist. I thought it needed 2 clues from each investigator?
@WingingItGaming4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! You need two clues *per* investigator, but that really just means 4 clues total. Can be 2 from each, 3 and 1, or 4 from one investigator.

First turn it’s draw a card OR resource token, separate actions during investigation phase, not AND. That happens during Upkeep.
@WingingItGaming4 жыл бұрын
The location ability at “Your House” allows your to take both a card and a resource.

WingingIt ahh gotcha. I’ve never not burnt down my house. The ghouls and the mud and the dripping meat bags hanging over barrels really did a number on the property value. (And I had just upgraded my deck with a fat new insurance policy the scenario before :)

Hmmmm, here kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2jHdn58esZ9n6s why did you play Dodge? It was the beginning of your investigator phase. You weren't being attacked. And then you played Extra Ammunition which would have lead to an Attack of Opportunity. Am I missing something?
@WingingItGaming4 жыл бұрын
Apologies, I just saw this comment- the Dodge was to avoid the attack of opportunity for when I played Extra Ammunition.

It seems like you make decisions that violate the grim rule?
@WingingItGaming4 жыл бұрын
Not sure which decisions you are referring to- grim rule is for when there is a rules question that you don't know the answer to in order to keep the game moving.
