All Wikipedia articles and the comic mention number 37 and the dream eater box 37th card is Narcolepsy. The card is likely to be liquid, like tea, seeker like the coaster, related to sleeping, and Minh needs a solution (liquid solution). My guess is Dream Enhancing Serum! As for an effect, reduced cost and fast would be boring but we’ve seen what they did with the Fire Axe. Not exhausting to draw the card would also be huge since it would allow you to use it every time you draw a second card. But I hope that’s not the latter since it would be an infinite engine. My more funky guess is that when you draw a copy of a card that is already in your hand, you can exhaust DES to play it, paying its cost.

I think the hints are Minh has narcolepsy (Dream Eaters #37; or maybe False Awakening - Dark Side of the moon #37 - but that makes less sense to me), but then I get stuck. I'm guessing Lucid Dreaming, and the change for the upgraded version is "choose/reveal up to two cards and draw all copies of them".

Today's and final guess: Working a Hunch. Fits all clues from the video: This is the 37's card from the core set. The number 37 is on the comic cover and in every prime number article shown. It's a seeker card, and seeker is the symbol under the cup on one of the clues. The Dream Eaters clue might be a red herring or it might indicate that the upgraded version will be a myriad card. My guess for the effect is that it will be a level 2 myriad card with the additional text of: "After you draw Working a Hunch during your turn: Play it at no cost"

Ok, super sad to be late to this party haha. Love the channel and all y'all do for Arkham Horror lovers. Thank you. My guess based just on self the clue, hints and guesses people are putting out is: Extensive Research (•) 1XP version, because it's got Minh and Mandy on it. It's Minh having a problem in the card, she's got a whole lot of books to research to get the clues cheaply and efficiently, which still demands a lot from Minh, having a huge big hand deck, plus sm Scavenging tech, red cards etc. What if we could do that Extensive Researching but differently, from a small or normal hand size deck. Both Minh and Mandy are card numbers #2, a prime number and factor in the card #198 Extensive Research (•). 3+7=10 the cost of the Lvl 1 Card, getting an upgrade. 7 being the new cost, but XP wise you're getting 3 cards for 1.66 XP each, not bad, and 66 happens to be a factor of 198, 3x66=198. As to what the 2nd upgraded version would be, am thinking Seeker (•••••) 5XP, but for 3 copies, it being Myriad trated (5 & 3 are both Prime #), 3 cards, and having it get 3 book icons, and get you 3 testless clues, 2 from your location + 1 clue from any location (adding to Analytical Mind + Minh's ability to add skill cards anywhere). "Extensive Research" (•••••) Myriad. Insight. Cost: 7. XP: 5. Seeker Reduce the cost to play Extensive Research by 1 for each card in your hand. Discover 2 clues at your location and 1 additional clue at any location." Slightly more aggressively tuned, allowing it to only cost 2 with only 5 cards in hand. This puts it in line with Shed a Light at 2 cost, also Scene of the Crime's 2 Cost, and Working a Hunch, the original Core Set, grab a clue testless card, at 2 cost. It also would be ever so slightly cheaper in XP cost than the tabooed 2XP per card for Shed a Light. Both have conditions which must be built around, but think I'd happily put 3 of these in my Minh decks, for 5XP. She can also always commit them for the 3 book, which with her ability makes for a whopping 4 books added. That's some Desperate Level Searching. This is my guess. I'm guessing devil's luck. It's number 157 in it's set, and 157 is the prime number that is sexy, with 151, which is in the Padovan sequence. It's also an irregular prime and an emirp. The card should be available to Minh, so I would say it will be level 2. It will be a Myriad card, but I will not speculate on the specific efffect. Maybe it keeps the exile on it to make it super cheap to buy back and be truly diabolically lucky every scenario!

Astounding Revelation! -It's a myriad (3), and numbered 23 (in tde) - which are both prime numbers -Minh is consulting a Rabbi about a problem she has and a choice to make (you have to choose in AR) -The stained glass windows mentioned on Notre Dame card are featured in the art of AR. -Looking at some cards from the core set mentioned/implied in the video, they all have something to do with searching your deck or gaining clues (deduction, prime numbers 31 - old book of lore, and 37 - working a hunch, and 32 clues on the study - research librarian) The effect, based on all the mantions of cluUUuues, could be an additional choice to discover a clue at your location, or something along those lines.

I think it is a level 2 version of Joey "The Rat" Vigil, so that Lucius Galloway will be able to take it. Seeker plate mostly covered by a cup with a green logo (card meant for a seeker investigator, but is actually a rogue card). Joey was the name of a main character in that batman comic, and his level 3 version was released in the Dream Eater expansion. Every number in the text of joey's card is a part of the padovan sequence(1, 3, 2, including the level 3 version. His subtitle is even "Looking out for number 1", 1 being the only number prime numbers are divisible by.) Both of the card numbers for each current version of Joey include 6 as one of the three digits, which is the fake out for the sexy prime clue. It is gonna be a version that won't let you get resources from discarding cards, but instead will let you grab items from your discard, with some limitation (possibly needing to succeed at a test by a specific amount, which would fit with Lucius's ability, and explains the focus on prime numbers. This means you can SPAM certain seeker cards like Strange Solution, or maybe a card like one of the various rogue alcohols (moonshine theory misdirect).

Working a Hunch. The coaster shows it's a seeker card. It's an Insight and a 'Hunch', which are both right for Joe Diamond. This is a stretch, but the two different card arts could be Minh and Joe Diamond - but they're on separate cards... marital problem! Someone else pointed out the original card #37 is a prime number - and I like to think that the woman in the original card art is using symbols to work out a hard maths problem. The upgrade might be Level 3, 2 cost, Fast, Play only during your turn, Discover 2 clues at your location or a connecting location.

I really can't find any card that really fits all clues, but think I have to go with working a hunch. It is #37 which shows up a lot in the clues, I am hoping the dream eaters box is a red herring since there is a can of spam in the image just like the tins of "scarlett mackerel". Joe diamond has a hunch deck amd Minh thi phan is being kept up by the hunch she has?? Looking forward to finding out the answer!

I've problem caught the ruby trout hook, line and sinker, but I think it's an upgrade to Extensive Research! It's from DSotM, features MTP talking to Mandy (the dialogue from the tweet). I think it gains Myriad, gets a little cheaper at the cost of an extra action (really relying on myriad play) and perhaps a wild icon. Myriad and an action penalty really emphasise the extensiveness of the research after all! Sadly I am not a maths brained person, so cannot relate the other clues to it 😭 but that's the hunch I've worked 🙏

I think seeing as we’ve seen an upgraded improvised weapon it’s going to be along the same lines such that Marion can take it. My guess is an upgraded “winging it” (or improvised shield but take my first guess) It will be level 2 and be fast if you play it from your hand, but normal if played from discard pile. Probably reduces shroud by 2 instead of 1 also

I think it's a new, non-Seeker variation on Working a Hunch. The 37 clue is laid on thick and I think the idea of changing the class of cards sits nicely in a set with Agatha Crane. What would a non-Seeker Working a Hunch look like? I'm guessing it's likely to be Rogue themed, and gives a reward for over-succeeding at an investigation test. Maybe.

The card numbers align pretty well with some of the clues provided, and it makes thematic sense with the kinds of cards Agatha wants to be playing. Is this the right place to submit a guess?

My guess is Astounding Revelation. I'm thinking the "Dream Eaters Spam" is a reference to myriad cards, which are back this cycle. Its card number is 23 which is a prime number. Maybe the upgrade could be adding astounding revelation to your hand instead of discarding it, plus maybe having a wild symbol in addition to its book. This would be great for Minh since you can't play the card but you can commit it. And it would be discard fodder for Barnaby (not in the clues, but just putting it in the context of the new expansion.)

Dream Eater box is shown, so assuming that set. All the articles include #37, which is narcolepsy. Minh needs a solution (something to drink) that's a seeker card from the coaster. So Dream Enhancing Serum. I think it'll be a high level upgrade and exhausting the card will let you play it.

Laboratory Assistant. The last name of the illustrator of the card is also the last name of the architect that added a golden rooster to Notre Dame. If you add all the numbers at the bottom of Minh's card you get 2033. If you add all the numbers at the bottom of Laboratory Assistant you get 2039. 2033 and 2039 are sexy primes. There is a Strange Solution in the background of Laboratory Assistant's art. 37 is the red herring.

Guess: upgraded dream enhancing serum Reasoning: photo of dream eaters, the expansion that this card was included in; seeker card because of Minh photo; the hint at strange solution could just be alluding to the rough theme of the card rather than another strange solution upgrade itself; guessing the new card will also include several prime numbers (xp cost of 5..?, references to “2 copies” of cards, 3 resource cost, etc); spam in the photo with dream eaters referring to spamming multiple copies of cards in your deck is what leads to the benefit of drawing 1 card. Question: Would you ever consider doing content that covers the wonderful custom campaign/scenarios that are floating around on the internet?

Second day, second guess: Act of Desperation, it now costs 2xp It gains: You may play Act of Desperation from your discard pile. If you do, remove Act of Desperation from the game after resolving its effects. When The King in Yellow shows up, Minh despairs and wants to throw the Act (1) away. But Act of Desperation cannot target a weakness. Now it cannot target a weakness from the discard pile too. Well we were talking about Minh's problems. It being the circle undone #37 helps a bit. Joe can't take it, but at least it's fighting related.

My guess for today is Working a hunch It is core set #37, which appears on the batman comic and every wiki page, it is an insight, which means joe diamond can put it in the hunch deck, all the clues about clues lead to a card that involves getting clues. The seeker coaster indicates a seeker card. Notre Dame? Hunchback of notre dame. My guess for the extra thing that it does; if you succeed by on some kind of test by enough, it can be retrieved from your discard pile. It works well with Lucius galloway's ability, it plays nice with Minh Thi Phanh's skill focus, and it can be "spammed"

Okay. Since I only get one more guess. I’m going with consensus. “Working A Hunch” is my second and final guess. It is the second most common answer I believe. And the one that makes the most sense to me. 37 is all over the place. If 37 is the red herring I will have to hand it to the crew on the most masterful misdirection in all of riddles. As someone else said, the upgrade will be myriad, thus DE SPAM. Maybe it’ll cost 1? 0? Or have more icons, depending on how much xp it costs.

My second guess is Working a Hunch, and I'm wondering now if the first card shown (Connect the Dots) is a further clue. Maybe the upgraded Hunch lets you get a clue from a different location, similar to the Seeking Answers and Look What I Found upgrades. 2xp, Intellect and Wild Icons, collector number 42 or 43? Things pointing towards Working a Hunch: #37, Hunchback, seeker card that Minh and Joe both like.

I'll guess working a hunch...It is card #37 from the core set. The number 37 appears prominently on the comic cover and is hidden within each prime number article in the video. It belongs to the Seeker class-its symbol marked beneath the cup in one of the clues. As for the Dream Eaters reference? Perhaps a red herring (SPAM!)... or a forewarning that its upgraded version bears the Myriad trait (where you can SPAM those card on the board!) I think play for free after draw might be too strong. We've also seen more support for multiplayer synergies like "Short Rest" so maybe this could be along those lines (hinting at the marital problems?) I doubt it though since this card isn't neutral which makes it more tricky to synergize with another player. Since it would become myriad having an effect like easy mark would be nice... Final guess: "Working a hunch" Myriad 2 XP, After you play Working a hunch: Play another Working a hunch from your hand, at no cost.

I'm also guessing Working a Hunch. Clues: It's Core Set 37, fitting the prime + Detective Comics issue number. It's a Seeker card like the coaster. It relates to Notre-Dame (HUNCHback of...). It fits the Minh dialogue somewhat (Minh is trying to figure out how to solve a problem). When Quick Shot was revealed, someone cleverly called it Working a Punch. I'm guessing that the Working a Hunch upgrade will be the cluever counterpart to it (which would fit the Dream-Eaters spam clue). So 3 XP, 2 cost, 2 book icons. Myriad. Fast. Play only during your turn. Discover a clue at your location. Reaction trigger: After you draw Working a Hunch during your turn: Play it, reducing its resource cost by 2.

I'm mostly echoing what others have said but here's my two cents; SPAM was introduced in 1937. 37 is listed throughout the prime number-wikipedia pages and the comic book is issue #37. Easiest answer would be that the "Dark side of the moon" mythos pack is the "scarlet mackerel" (or a "red herring" if you will) meant to throw us off (maybe specifically the weakness card "False awakening", #37 from that pack) It would be funny if it turns out the 37 is the red herring though. In that case, my guess would be Moonstone, it's from the Dark side of the Moon mythos pack. Of all the Prime number pages, the one where 37 isn't listed, is called the "moonshine theory". Minh can take lvl 0-2 Survivor Cards so the upgrade could be a lvl 2. However the coaster shows a Seeker icon so I'm more inclined to believe (and this is my official guess) it's Dream-Enhancing Serum. #37 is Narcolepsy from Dream-eaters, "marital problem" = drinking so the card has something to do with a liquid ("strange (or otherwise) solution" also points to it)

I'm so late that my only shot is assuming everyone's chosen the red herrings. So my choice is an upgraded Thermos! It fits the drink theme, and would be good for holding the coffee that keeps sleepy Minh awake during her long shifts. In terms of the function of the card, it's hard to come up with a good guess. But I'll say: Seeker class, 2xp 3 cost, 3 uses Will and agility icons #45 The abilities are now fast instead of costing an action. Yes that sounds strong but this is Seeker.

My thought: same static effect as original, except add an additional will icon, and the reaction ability says, "After you draw a copy of a card that is already in your hand, reveal both copies and exhaust Dream-Enhancing Serum: Draw 1 card or search your deck for another copy of the revealed cards." The intended use of the upgraded version would be to help decks that are trying to run multiple cards with myriad.

I forgot to comment yesterday to say Practice Makes Perfect! It's a great card for Minh (skill based seeker and some of the best practiced cards like Unrelentling) and Joe for the same reason (deduction and vicious blow), and is part of the Dark Side of the Moon. It is not a Prime number, but 197 is a Sexy Prime which is at least something. The Upgrade could search your deck and discard pile. Anyways, today is my birthday and my vote for today is Astounding Revelantion. We've seen many myriads spoilered already, except for seekers and mystics. There are stained glass behind like in Notre Dame, Minh is doing a confession and it's a seeker card from TDE. As for the effect, sadly upgrades are often more boring than we'd wish they would, and so I will go with 2 secrets, 3 resources, and you can shuffle it back in your deck.

I am also seeing some great guesses but in order to cover an area not yet covered i an guessing 2 cards. todays guess is eye of truth it cost 3 xp and only commits for 3 eyecons it only other wise does the same thing as Eye of truth when you succeed. But only commits for one when committing to other encounter cards of the same name.

Final guess is working a hunch #37 of the correct set. Relates to Diamond's specialty and prime 37. The dream eater clue is the red herring.

Final guess is Working a Hunch. Another card #37 that relates to all the Wikipedia clues, and one of the few that makes sense to make an upgrade for. Glow up will probably be a mirror to the new Quick Shot

My guess is an upgraded Tetsuo Mori maybe it's a level 2 card and it becomes a survivor card. Maybe the amount of cards you can search becomes a prime number, the 9 becomes 11? I guessed it because you had a pic of detective comics and tetsuo is a detective kind of, if it becomes survivor mihn and run it and he's from dream eaters

For this second day (morning now where I am) I’m going to change it up. I believe it’s Working a Hunch. It is a seeker card It is 37, which is a prime, emirp (73), sexy prime (31), the first irregular prime Plus it’s a cool card that is spammed in basically every seeker deck, especially Minh (look at those symbols) and I want an upgraded version

Congrats. My guess is: Dream-enhancing serum. Its costs a prime number and only counts a prime number of a card in your hand Part of Seeker. Te cup of tea can be seen as a dream enhancement. It was released in dream eaters. Upgrade could be for two experience: After you draw a copy of a card that is already in your hand, reveal both copies and exhaust Dream-Enhancing Serum: Draw 3 card.

First Guess! Working a Hunch -Minh can take it -Fitting with the Batman/Detective theme is investigating a hunch you have -It is numbered 37, the same as the Detective Comics Issue. 37 also appears on all of the Wikipedia math page hints (although it appears on the page for super singular primes, it isn’t actually one. maybe it is what it missing, not what is there…the MOONshine theory. And dark side of the moon was put out next to the red he-I mean, Scarlet Mackerels. AND the dark side of the moon encounter set has 37 cards…am I overthinking this?) -Not sure about the Minh hint text, but the message can be paraphrased into “we can’t help, just make a choice off ur gut!” seems like she’ll have to work a hunch Baseless Guesses - Specialist upgrade? The seeker coaster was covered by a white Arkham chronicle mug. Perhaps the red glove hints at a survivor upgrade instead. Or the red gloved man is doing side quests - What’s with the fish cans? Is the moon important? Is “scarlet mackerel” telling me to avoid scarlet keys and innsmouth? Don’t own either anyways so I guess I will. - If there are subtle hints towards the class being red, then it can be noted that that issue of Detective Comics also includes the Crimson Avenger Strongest Doubt - I would never expect them to actually make an upgrade for this card lol

I forgot to add in speculation that it will be free. Something about the weird wording in the title and the uppercase FREE makes me wonder if it’s referring to one of the changes in the upgrade

Actually, new guess: dream enhancing serum. The people who think 37 is the narcolepsy have convinced me. It does also fit most of the clues. But the real reason I want to guess it is that I think I have an effect in mind: "Only the first copy of each card in your hand counts toward your maximum hand size. After you draw a copy of a card that is already in your hand, reveal all copies of this card in your hand and exhaust Dream-Enhancing Serum: Draw that many cards."
