It isn't in the bedroom. They replaced the carpet in the living room with wood and used the original carpet to make the rug. You should see the spary paint "art" he did in the dining room. Painted right over a beautiful hardwood floor.

Justin Flom or how this guy is called does just such a bad diy things. It’s worse than all these 5 minute crafts. First of all no safety precautions whatsoever. For example like in this video working with dozens of spraypaint cans indoors without proper ventilation or safety masks. Quite often he lacks a lot of basic knowledge on how to do a job properly. But the risk is, for a lot of stupid guys he does „interesting“ stuff they want to recreate without realizing the dumb shit he is doing.

I moves into a house that smelled like piss and after tearing out the carpet it looked exactly like that. For anyone dealing with that, Kilz oil based primer is your best friend after removing the carpet.

Dont use carpet as a rug on hardwood, it will sand your hardwood as the back is corse. If you wanna do this, then glue a none skid pad to the bottom to protect the hardwood

yeah no i wouldnt colour it and the lines werent even good cuz there was red all over it and yes it would feel weird because u just used spray paint to paint a carpet so if someone steps on it theire gonna get colour on their feet and it looks weird knowing if u spill water on it it will probably go away or if food falls on the black part. good luck with that, or if he would try to clean the carpet the paint would probs go away

The carpet will be hard from the paint. You dye carpet not paint it. My mother in-law would dye her carpet through the whole house every couple of years. 40 year old carpet that looks just like it did when it was installed. It doesn't get any more frugal than that.
