I think seeing the animation beforehand actually made the story more heart aching and interesting because we already know what happened. It’s interesting to see the characters reaction. Because if they didn’t reveal the animation it would’ve be very confusing, and we couldn’t feel attached to Clervie.

Agree! I thought I was the only one who felt this way. The animation did not only hyped Arlecchino but also I feel a sense of attachment to Clervie already and not just an NPC who appeared out-of-the-blue for the story. But at the end of the day it will still depend on the preference of the players if they like the animation before or after the story quest. For me, I really did enjoy it.

I see a lot of theories about Arlecchino's age. So let me summarize: She said herself that Clervie was 6 years old when Crucabena brought her into the House, and that Peruere was of the same age. The duel between Clervie and Peruere happened 10 years later when they were both 16. Arlecchino said she killed Crucabena a year later so she was 17 at that time. Freminet told us that Lyney and Lynette joined the House shortly after him, yet they never met Crucabena but Freminet did. So, assuming that all three of them have spent almost the same amount of time there, and Arlecchino was already the one in charge when Lyney and Lynette joined, she's at least 27. Lyney's Story Quest told us that the incident with Cesar happened 10 years ago, and Cesar knows about their "Father", so they were already members of the House back then. Which means Arlecchino must've been the person in charge of the House of the Hearth for at least 10 years. And if she killed Crucabena at 17, that would make her at least 27.

Arlecchino's powers are not because of any experiments instead because she is related to the crimson moon faction of khaenriah and thats where her inner powers of flames comes from. I am not sure whether she is a direct descender of khaenrians or just obtained their abilities by other means but I think that is also the reason why she is cursed.

This is just a genshin content creator hyping up even the most average story quest, her story quest is not even the best among all the other story quests. I will be honest, character story quests are never that great, since their only purpose is to incentivise players to pull for the characters. Archon's second story quests are the only exception to this rule since the objective of their second story quest is about lore, world building and the actual story of people. I was expecting so much more from arlecchino's story quest after minslief's video, but all we got was "arlecchino is so good, you should pull for her". After watching the animated video of arlecchino, I had a general idea of how arlecchino's story quest would go and it went exactly like that. The unvoiced non-archon quests like the one in 4.6 about rumeria, or narzissenkruez quest or aranara quest are infinitely better than any character story quest. But sadly, i dont think i have seen a single genshin CC even talk about or upload a video about them, except the genshin lore CC.

Traveler had LOADS of help during the fight with Ei. If she actually wanted us dead, she would've bodied us without hesitation. Arlecchino isn't even on the same power level as Ei (since the top 3 have the power equivalent to gods) and considering she beat the traveler easily, there's no doubt that Ei could do the same.

I think I would’ve liked Arlecchino as a character if they didn’t wait until the 11th hour to learn about her after multiple years of characters and NPCs calling her twisted and evil, cause I personally was excited and found it interesting if we got a horrible personal playable. And that’s not to say she still isn’t a good person, but now the game and fans are coloring her in this gray sympathetic light despite her ultimately being okay with taking in children to train and fight in a war they had nothing to do with. Yeah she gives them a way out but it’s only after years of service, trauma, and they have to fight/survive for the right to leave in the first place; which really reminds me of some gangs where I from. Even if they don’t remember that’s a really sketchy justification for forcing someone to do things they don’t want to. Yet the game and fans are going heavy on “oh she cares for them.” It just doesn’t really sit right with me. She’s cool and gorgeous but you I don’t think I really care for what they did with Arlecchino 💀 If they gave her more events and lore beforehand like Scara I’d probably feel differently.
