Saw them both, Arlo and Steve...many times, on the Philly circuits in the '70's. Steve Goodman was an amazing performer and prolific songwriter. He left the world way too soon. Thank God, we got to keep Arlo.

You were so lucky to have experienced their music! I was in jr high in the early 70’s, so not quite old enough. God Bless ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

This is reminiscent of a Holy Spirit-saturated Prayer Meeting! At least, so I am affected by Guthrie's message in this video! Thanks for sharing !

The story may not be 100% accurate, nonetheless it is true. A native American friend used to say the above to me when I got picky about something. The verse below is full of power: "Shall I be wafted to the skies on flow'ry beds of ease While others strive to win the prize And sail on bloody seas..." Why should I think I'm going to have it easy ?

God bless you Arlo. And if there is no God, then Dog bless you - because I know dogs exist, and my dog saved a wretch like me. And my dog told me to change my name to Chrysler... so err, ummm...
