Arlo doesn't just play music, never has. He is a singer/songwriter/storyteller. He needs to be experienced. He IS an experience. Storyteller Arlo is at least half the reason I go see him in person. Thank you Arlo for being a light in this world. Peace & Love.

Saw Arlo at Naz Arts center some years ago, he called a outside smoke break, about halfway through the show, and Arlo stopped to chill with me, and after about 20 minutes he looked surprised cause he just remembered that he had to go on stage! Lol. Arlo you are a trip!

In 1977 or 78, he played the Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. He was way better than anyone expected. I always thought he was kind of like a cross between Bob Dylan and Jerry Garcia.

Not being a musician, I like the various arrangements performers often have of their own work. Different keys. Different instrumentation. Just for interest? Voice changing with age? Arlo is a very good musician, performer and, and, and. I once saw a show where grandson was playing lead electric guitar along with Abe keyboard.

I remember watching a performance on PBS where he talked about Gwabby Gwabby, and Tzaina Tzaina which is a Hebrew folk song and he was brilliant with that. I also remember my younger sister laughing with us but there was no way she "knew" what he was talking about just following our laughings.
