I'm currently attempting to build a table and came up with the same idea to place the pins for the elbow pads on the center line so you could reverse them when going between left and right hand pulls. I would love to create a schematic of an entire build with pin locations so everyone could build tables easily. This in my opinion might help the sport grow quite a bit. It's a daunting task to DIY a left/right arm table and there isn't a lot of great info out there easily available. Anyhow. Thanks for making this video and if you have time maybe we could chat.

Great video currently making a table like yours Just wondering for the holes in the table what kind of steel sleeves did u use for the pin and elbow pads or where I can find them. Thanks a lot make more vids!!!!!

They are made from scrap aluminum tubing/pipe that I had laying around. I just flared out the top side so they don't get pushed through the holes. Honestly, I could have done a better job on those inserts but, they work.

Anyone know why some tables have verticle/straight pin pads and some have diagonal pin pads?

I could only give a guess... besides different organizational standards, I'd say maybe diagonal is more focused on the pin hitting the pad and vertical more focused on referees gauging if the hand/wrist has gone low enough to qualify for a pin.

What did you use for the eyelets where the pins from the pads insert into? Are they just eyelets in the table material or are they something that gets hammered into the table?

It's just some aluminum tubing I had laying around that I flared the ends and then push them in with my thumbs.
