That might explain why it took me so long just to come across a video (from RubixRaptor) that combined Arma 3 and 40k. I'd been aware of Arma for maybe 15 years and was curious about the military realism but had no idea it was even moddable. I love 40k, as YT knows, so the discovery was just amazing. I thought TES had a great modding community, but this is just incredible. It's made me strongly consider both getting into Arma 3 and back into the miniatures, and there are clearly pro-level designers out there, so it's just baffling when companies like GW (or T2 when it comes to GTA) don't take advantage of such a dedicated, talented community most IPs could only dream of having.

@@WK-47Hell yeah arma 3 is modable! That’s how dayz came about with the arma2 mod. I finally got a pc powerful enough to run arma 3 this year, and was excited to play the arma 3 dayz mod as I had seen some cool videos on it. Sadly the reality didn’t match up. Most of the servers didn’t have zombies on them because the players found them frustrating. Makes me wonder why they didn’t play a different mod, of which there is many and the game itself is pretty fun.

When I was in the Army, we had to do training in a heavily modified version of Operation Flashpoint. As far as I know, they're still using this for different training scenarios simply because it's so flexible and immersive. It's also super stressful and a great training resource for leaders.

Instead, use the dropdown menu on the top right of the mods tab, and use the 'import' button on the bottom of that dropdown to import the complete modlist as its own saved preset, with you only having to verify fresh downloads. Makes me kinda wonder, if this is not somehow Day-Z happening all again, and if we wouldn't see an "official" 40k mod/standalone someday soon, however unlikely that might be thanks to GW content policing.

For the first time in ages i see the true epic of 40k mods, over the shoulders of modders that go beyond the call of duty, and the epic soundtrack you add "adds" to that epic nicely! For 10.000 thousand years of rendering they hold the line for us to have acces to the mighty warriors and warmaquinas of the Imperium, for us to cleanse the Xeno, and burn the heretics. And thanks to them i Know No Fear of game crashing, because i know it worth it till the last second of my CPU running, because even in death still serves.

On ICP future content part. Flashpoint had this gamemode where you had whole island, US and Soviets fought over it, capturing towns and locations, building bunkers, buying gear, weapons and vehicles. It was CIT mode i think in OFP played it with GameSpy. There were like mobile HQ vehicles and you could also upgrade them to some extent. Not sure about points system if it was for individual player or as whole faction wide point counter wich you would use to buy stuff or make bunkers and sheet.
