Well, in Russia, Creed fragrances are now getting more and more expensive, due to exchange rate. Where as Armaf fragrances are still at the same price. And, with Armaf's decent quality, I'd go with Armaf.

Armaf is a hit and miss for a clone house, in my opinion offering from Al Haramain, Swiss Arabian and Rasasi is way better then Armaf. Creed is overpriced for what they offer and most of their perfumes nowadays been reformulated and do not perform, price performance ration is very poor.
@praetorian35714 жыл бұрын
@Umair Tallat Armaf is not a bad house, tried a few and they were ok for the price, but most of their atomizer start to malfunction/leak after going through 2/3 of the bottle, and some had performance issues, for same price I think there are better houses. I won a few perfumes from Swiss Arabian and all solid juices with competitive price, they have partnered with Givadan and some of their perfume comes with high quality ingredient that can easily match the more expensive perfumes from designer/niche houses. Creed have always been an over hyped house, beside Aventus, everything else is just average, more of glorifies designer house. They are also lying about their history and past, historically they were a tailoring boutique, they got into perfumes business around 1975. If you after bang for your buck perfume house, try Lattafa :-)) nothing comes close to what they offer for the money :-)
@praetorian35714 жыл бұрын
@Umair Tallat The big brands, you are paying for the name :-)) the cost to make Tom Ford perfumes is around $8-10 for the ingredient, so you can imagine how they milk their customers. Armaf is ok for a clone house if you can buy it at a cheap price, but offering from Swiss Arabian, Rasasi and Al Haramain is much better then Armaf.

Dude dont go into debt coz you think buying the OG will get you noticed more, this is my first Armaf frag after smelling the Creed, this one shits on it I paid $39 AUD for Amraf and at retailers they want $479 for the Creed, what do you think is better, unless a fully trained frag collector or perfumer smells you, just tell whoever its Creed, Im not a niche guy,yeah i can buy them its not the money I love my designers and finding gems that are discontinued or going tobe and i buy quality over quantity, i have 3 cheapies in my 70 bottle collection, this one which IMO is better than the Creed, I bought Cool Water Parfum which is pretty good with some Sauvage DNA snd the old Nautica Voyage and out of some of the more expensive designers ive been asked 3 times by customers at work when ive just sprayed a bit of Nautica to see how it goes, what I was wearing. Plus I have a shoe box full of niche testers 5ml ones I was given over the past 3yrs which is prob worth a few grand and yeah there are some nice ones but there are also some better and greatest designers. Spending money on something more expensive doesnt make you a classier person, when you could have 2 or 3 designers for the same price. I buy for me and I buy quality designers over quantity i don't care what sone drunk chic thinks i smell like, im the ine who is paying the money so i buy what i like

I quite like the house myself. I own Club De Nuit Intense Man and I also own Craze. Very happy with both of them. Each of them is purported to be 90 to 95% similar to the original but the price tag is 90 to 95% cheaper. It doesn’t make financial sense to spend full price on the original when the clone is that close. I will have to check this one out. It sounds amazing. As for the packaging, I also find it humorous. They are tweaking the noses of the original brands who like to have fancy packaging to go with their fancy cologne. Honestly, most of us just care about the juice. How are we going to smell? Some houses take it an extra mile with their packaging and raise the finger at whoever they are trying to target. Rogue perfumery includes actual Oak moss in the packaging for their chypres and fougers to raise the finger to IFRA.

On one website, a 100ml bottle of Royal Oud costs £280. On another website, a 50ml decant of Royal Oud costs £93. Are people really paying such a huge premium, just to have it in a Creed bottle rather than a plain decant? Seems kinda insane that 100ml worth of decant (2 x 50ml) costs £186 when the Creed bottled equivalent costs £280, when it's the same juice inside.

Creed has become so popular that this alone makes it not worth its price to me. Years ago, sure. Now, so many are wearing it, on top of all the “close call” fragrances across all the designers and others like Armaf. For me, I prefer fragrances that aren’t popular, but are also well-made. There’s so many now that we don’t have to fall into the barrel with everyone else. Now, with that said, if I was going to go for a Creed fragrance, I’m not going to pay what they want. They have changed how they make their products significantly over the last 20 years. I would definitely go for the Armaf!👍

I just picked up a bottle for $39 AUD ive smelt the Creed but this too me this is better, I get a bit if a rose scent in the dry down, definitely Unisex but its the first bottle of Amraf , but I would not pay $500 AUD , considering how much stronger and so close this is for $39 AUD. So I normally buy the OGs but why pay $500 AUD for something that I can pick up for $39 AUD and unless I have a trained nose or a perfumer then who would know. I paid more for my cheapie in Cool Water Parfum which was $50 AUD o and if course I had to buy a $25 AUD bottle of Nautica Voyage , but for $39 AUD for near enough the same package as a $500 Creed screw paying for Creed. Besides Im not a niche guy I love my designers and have a moderate 70 bottle collection but besides this obe and the 2 cheapies I mentioned, I buy quality over quantity but smelling the Creed and then this it was a no brainer. But i pick up a floral scent in the dry down, but projects better performs better just hasnt got the NICHE NAME. Plus on the Aventus side, I smelt it, its nice but I felt Mont Blanc Explorer was similar with just a more masculine scent, so I went with that and I just ordered a new 200ml bottle from a discounter for $130 AUD, but everything else from Dior to Chanel, Armani, Givenchy etc I buy for me not what some pissed chic will think, I love my Versace line, but the Givenchy Gentleman line Boisee and Reserve Privee really got me into the note of Iris and then Dior Homme Intense again Iris but more lip sticky etc , but really for my first clone, I dont think I can go wrong, its coming into Spring then Summer in Aust so ive picked up some nice summer scents to add to the collection I think Hermes edt is just prob better than Niche, Savage Elixir is niche for $220 AUD for 60ml , I found a bottle of YSL BLEU ELECTRIQUE at a discounter, that blew my mind it was mixed up in their Eau ELETRIQUE stock so calling and checking paid off. , it just makes me laugh that some guys think if they spend $500 on say a Tom Ford or whatever that they are automatically classy lol, esoecially idiots who spray a ton of Oud in summer, they choke a room out, but even Versace Oud Noir to me smells a bit more refined than Tom Fords Oud Wood, but I love finding gems and discontinued frags even couldnt help myself and blind bought One Million Lucky as that is going to be gone soon and smells really good But the Emporio Armani line, SWY INTENSELY and Absolutely are fantastic , but i used Cool Water Parfum after a shower last night to give it a good test, it smells totally diff than the OG Cool Water with some Sauvage DNA. But i do love my Sauvage edp, I have 2 x 200ml bottles still wrapped just incase they change it as Dior has a habbit of doing. But this Amraf, I really don't mind at all and can see myself grabbing it alot in the Summer and warmer months ahead.

Shall I go on for my 2nd bottle of Issey Miyake pour homme or can Armaf Club De Nuit Sillage replace it as my daily fragrance?

@Umair Tallat thanks for your reply 😇. Sillage or Intense - as a daily fragrance.. Or both? 🤔

Time to move on from Issy Miyake im 48 i have half a bottle so its still a good scent but if I put this frag in a Creed Bottle and said give me $50 for it as I stole it you wouldnt know the difference

@@dazzac74 yeah...👍 I went in for CDNI... And, plenty other armaf Colognes in the same price as a bottle of Issey.... And, I'm pretty happy about it 🤩

@@anonyfamous1007 mate thats good, but never get into debt because wankers talk up what they have in their collection, im 48 i have 70 bottles, im not a niche person, but i buy quality over quantity in designer world, i did a count the other day and if I had paid full retail for all of them its near $10k but I picked up a bottle of Amraf Sillage yest for $39 AUD and ive smelt the Creed and the Amraf is way better longevity and performance, if you put it in a Creed bottle unless a perfumer or a fully trained nose smelt you for an hour they still prob wouldnt know. But guys think if they spend $500 on a bottle that it makes them smell great and think they are classy. Totally wrong, i have the Amraf, I bought Cool Water Parfum and Nautica Voyage as its coming into the warmer months so they are my cheapies but Cool Water Parfum i got aaked what I was wearing a few times, it smells nothing like Cool Water and has some Sauvage DNA through it. Mate they will cost you $70 AUD and even the Nautica is pretty nice for a cheapie. Ive got the Dior Sauvage edp, Bleu De Chanels the Armanis, all the big hitters but if you want womens compliments they like basic stuff, not something that they can smell 100myrs before you get there and still smell 2 hours later. Creed these days are shit overpriced lolly water. I have a shoe box full of 5ml testers of alk types of niche prob worth a few grand and yeah some are very nice but for me id rather buy designer, try out the Givenchy Gentleman line especially the Boisee and Reserve Privee, if you like the note of iris, plud you have to get Dior Homme Intense, but just buy what you can afford, mate I have half a Bottle of Issy and half a bottle of the OG 1 million, the 1 million is still a grear frag for summer. But if I was to recommend a great designer to save up for get Dior Elixir 60nml $220 AUD but 3 sprays you get 20 hrs. Worth every cent. Better than all the crap niche out there. You can wear it all yr round

The Armaf bottles are better than any JPG Le male bottles that look like they were designed by a 10yr old.
@michaeldasilva17523 жыл бұрын
The fragrance snobs and people who can afford creed can keep buying creed. I'm not a purist and I can't afford Creed... I just like smelling nice so I'll stick to the Armaf alternative

Thank you! Very very insightful.. I’m returning my SMW after being hesitant, but knowing the quality wasn’t there and feel better about picking up sillage
@kleeblattchen38 Жыл бұрын
@@CH-or4ps my pleasure... a year later i can say though that while Sillage does represent the original SMW better then creeds current fragrance it has something to it that makes it a little bit of an acquired taste... i had a sample and didn't like it that much although the dna in general just might not be for but i have heard other reviewers/people point out the same thing... so i guess maybe the current batches of creed SMW are a little more mass appealing at least, albeit weak...

Armaf is consistency changing the game as never before. This is identical to the good batches of Creed. The new SMW is watered down. I could make a killing selling decants of Armaf Sillage as SMW all day. Then I can afford Creed. I heard from good sources that Royal Oud next winner.
