Looking at the extent of the over hammering, I would guess that it is either a prototype Thin Overhammered, or the Bounce/Thin Overhammered prototype that Zildjian was rolling out around that time. It’s hard to tell considering the main difference between the two is the cluster hammering and bell shape.

@@m.dave2141 If i'm not too late, here you go : he divides the beat in 5 (quintuplets) instead of the usual 3 (triplets) or 4 (16th notes) and accentuates the first and fourth quintuplets. ONE (two three) FOUR (five) ONE (two three) FOUR (five)... and so on. Good practice !

At the beginning of the video, i noticed the pianist couldn’t catch up with the tempo so nate helped him to get the right tempo. That explains why the pianist was watching nate the whole time. Nothing sounded weird and it was fuckin beautiful.
