A while back I saw a car screech to a stop outside the Save-On, exactly when a guy just casually strolls out of the front door. In one motion he tosses the basket in the back door and then leaps in after it and the car peels out. Three seconds, tops. It was awesome. By which I mean I saw nothing.

@@toppersundquist I actually work in a supermarket in the rough side of town. Thefts are common, because the store decided to cut costs by eliminating the "loss prevention officer" role. Now they lose more money from theft than they were losing by paying someone to prevent it. Peak galaxy brain capitalist thinking there
