I love the 3 minutes Friday! and I must say the image quality is great! No direct sunlight does help. I own a Alibow FG Tatar and a Istvan Szimeiszter Ottoman, my khatra and arrow flight is much better with the Ottoman bow, and there for also accuracy. But these together with the Snake are the only bows I ever used in my life.

Tatar is a general name for various Kipchak Turks, while "Turkish" bow specifically refers to bows used by Seljuk and Ottoman Turks, or various other Oghuz Turkic tribes at the most extent. Albeit being related ethnicities, geographically they are different, hence their bows seperately evolved in different geographies, although sharing a common ancestor. So naming Tatar bows as "TurkISH" bows would be misnaming on par as calling Viking/Scandinavian longboats as "German longboats"

Thank you Armin: That was very helpful, as the handle would seem most important, how it fits or fights your hand. For example, the new version of Bear takedown riser has a flat side, whereas the older version has a nicely rounded bulb, which, as it were is just the shape of the inside of my palm. So, you can get used to (the void of ) the one but it doesn't feel as naturally fitting and comfortable as the older one. Too bad Malta is so far away! Thanks, randy c
