Thank you Armin for review. This bow will be my target bow probably for long time. On final verison and little higher poundage we get average 188-190 fps 10 gpp . On light arrows shooting comfort is lower but even light arrows seems to be not dangerous for bow construction. On flight arrows this bow can shoot around 250 fps in draw weight 50-60 lb. Ofcourse use very light arrows in long term use is not recommended but few flight shoots should not damage this bow

What a glorious looking book. Visually just a beauty. Looks like the kind of bow you fall in love with after the first shot. Would be a dream to own such a beauty, looking like it might be the best bow from Nawalny which is saying a lot since all of use that watch your reviews know the quality produced. Great review as always.

Just when I was about to decide between his Saracen or the Mongolian he puts this out. & I've already been taking a long time trying to choose. Man! He's bows are amazing. Its always a pleasure watching you use those works of art witch happen to also be a tool. Tool sounds so blunt but you know what I mean. Take care brother

I wonder if your Oneida bow got 230 FPS with 10gpp because it has higher initial draw weight. Why are compound bows faster?
@ArminHirmer2 жыл бұрын
I think it is set from the factory to 38-40# (I thought 30#) More tests coming soon
@pyramid_scheme_termination36552 жыл бұрын
@@ArminHirmer but... compound bows have higher draw weights from the beginning right? I guess thats why they are faster
@pyramid_scheme_termination36552 жыл бұрын
@@ArminHirmer Could you talk if the complexity of compound is worth it? It is more prone to break and more upkeep?
@marekbieganski38762 жыл бұрын
@@pyramid_scheme_termination3655 High quality compound bow will be durable and definitely more accurate. This is not a choice of durability. You choose a traditional/historical archery because of it's beauty. Personally I even use self-nock wooden arrows. Choose compound if you want accuracy offered by hi-tech.
@marekbieganski38762 жыл бұрын
@@pyramid_scheme_termination3655 You are right about the speed. The work needed to draw a bow is stored as energy and will be converted to kinetic energy of an arrow and parts of the bow after release. Total work needed to draw the bow is a force multiplied by a distance. The force is not constant here, as it depends on draw length, so to calculate the work (energy), you need to measure total area below a draw weight chart at the distance of your draw length. This is where compound bow wins. It has a peak in early draw phase that will add a lot to energy, but then it goes down to make aiming easy.

Hey Armin, would you say that this bow would probably be the best for your money for getting into hunting with a lighter draw weight bow? I injured my shoulder some years ago, and now I'm limited to draw weight but need a bow that can still perform for hunting.
